> 3 dayThis mic is good! Maybe a little too good to be honest. When I was doing research on this mic it said it favors more lower pitch or deeper voices, this is true. I have a higher pitch voice and anytime my voice is drops in tone by a little the mic picks it right up! I got this mic as an upgrade from the XLR Blue Yeti and the XLR AT-2020 and what Ive noticed in comparing them all is that the Shure SM7B is wildly better, its so good and sounds super crisp! The Yeti and AT-2020 have a less crisp sound which kinda makes my singing voice sound better because the SM7B seems like it really emphasizes tone change. Overall, I love the mic, its sleek, nice, sturdy quality, and made from great materials! Oh! Also for this mic you might need a cloudlifter! I bought one with this mic and it helped a lot so I didnt have to hike up the gain! I was using the Focusrite Scarlett with the Cloudlifter and it works well! I have since then gotten the GoXLR and it works so much better! Both the Focusrite and GoXLR say they dont need a Cloudlifter however I noticed it tremendously helps it sounds better and almost a higher volume without touching any gain at all! I would recommend a Cloudlifter even if you Audio Interface says it doesnt need one.. I promise youll notice a difference, I also used my friends Roland VT-4 with and without the cloudlifter and the cloudlifter just makes it more crisp with no fuzzy gain sounds.

Greater than one weekI like this mic a lot but it is QUIET! So, depending on your computer interface/setup you may need a pre-amp. Factor that into the price. Have a Focusrite 6i6 and Id hurt my voice trying to get high enough volume. Added dbx286s and now use this mic every day now.
