One of the best sounding mics Ive had

Very notable microphone, a lot of streamers, podcaster, and gamers use it. Unless you have a pretty good AI, your gonna need a separate preamp or activator (cloudlifter,fethead) to really drive the microphone without getting white noise in the background. Sounded great with a DBX 286, just didnt the improvement from the procaster,podmic,pd70 was worth the big price increase.

Bought this for vocals in my recording studio. What a huge difference in the sonic quality of my vocal tracks. Sibilance is almost imperceptible compared to the ribbon mics I have been using.

I wouldve gave this review a 5, because this microphone has been perfect for the past 10 months. Until, the wire started doing that thing that headphones do whenever they break. If I touch the wire now, it wont pick up audio. I can understand headphones breaking, since you knot them and move around with them constantly, but not a mic that hasnt moved in almost a year. I would love to give this a 5, but I have to give it a 2 because of the issue that I have.

I have used the EV RE-20, the Neumann U87 and the Sennheiser MD-421 but I keep coming back to the Shure because this mic sounds consistently warm and authentic. I use it with the Universal Audio 6176.

The mic is one of the best but it does require a mixer to use so ill would reccomend the GOXLR Mini for streaming

It takes much more adjusting to get your voice just the way you want it, but when it comes to power like this you should expect that. This makes everything I do sound like a Radio Show and thats how I like it.

Depuis les blessures daccidents que jai subis en 2012, jai des symptômes de commotions cérébrales, des maux de tête et un mal excessif aux mandibules qui ont cassé. Maintenant jai du mal avec le bruit, et les gens qui parlent fort. Je ne peux plus forcer et rendre la performance comme auparavant. Avant autant sur scène quen studio un micro SM58 de Shure était parfait et je pouvais men servir pour le live.  Aujourdhui je dois faire plus dexercice de diagramme pour une meilleure stabilité et une voix chaleureuse. Jai trouvé et acheté SM7B après une longue recherche. Jai Essaie ce micro de studio, et Wow, je me permet de capter mes sons les plus doux, plus sensibles mais il me rassure aussi dans mon intensité. Jai fait une nouveauté «Je sais déjà» avec ce micro. Mon écriture a peu changé, je dois madapter avec mes handicapes, chercher plus de paix, de silence, capter ma voix dans sa simplicité lenrobé de chaleur et de justesse autant que possible et continuer ma passion musicalement.
