11-04-2025Seems great so far! Had some trouble getting my bios to recognize the m2 drive so swapped some sata drives around and moved it to a different m2 slot and was able to get it formatted. The clone utility they provide on their website is amazing for swapping your OS. Amazing how fast I was able to switch everything over and be booting up from this drive!

> 3 day$145 for 2TB seemed like a good deal, too bad that BOTH P31s Ive tried have inconsistent performance issues on Apples latest hardware. Most of the time, the drive struggles to achieve 500MB/S. While it can speed up after use, restarting the mac it slows back down again. Ive tried multiple Thunderbolt enclosures, and unfortunately they all have the same issue. Samsung and Sabrent SSDs have no issue.

> 3 dayBeen about a month of daily usage now, and all I can say is WOW. This is quick. This is a time saver. I bought the base model M1 MacBook Air (2020), and its been great for what its worth over the last 20+ months of daily usage. In this case, my storage option was 256GB, which actually isnt much since I am doing more content creation nowadays. Currently using this 2TB NVMe SSD as a storage alternative without breaking the bank. Definitely quick, spiffy, and doesnt overheat with my TB4 external SSD enclosure. I am getting read speeds shy under 2GB/s and read speeds shy under 1GB/s, which are more than enough for my needs. However, read and write speeds may vary for others due to the different enclosures out there. I would definitely recommend this, especially for its value.

> 3 dayIn the last years SK Hynix has been an also-ran in the consumer SSD space; making only a few OEM drives and nothing notable sold to the public. Until now; this drive has proven to be quite amazing in both performance and power efficiency.

> 3 dayAfter installing this drive, my computer ran slower and would occasionally freeze. After four months I could no longer boot up. Re-installed my old drive and everything is fine now. I do not recommend this drive.

> 3 dayI bought this because it was cheaper at Amazon USA than Amazon Europe. I bought this SSD for my 2015 Macbook. Based on reviews it said it is low energy consuming but powerful. Unfortunately this SSD gets really hot for my laptop. So I use it external only. Their customer service is really pointless. Never answering your question. They barely can speak English. Their software is onyl for windows users. I wanted to update the firmware but was not possible because i use MacOS. They dont have any Linux support and just told me to return the item otherwise.

> 3 dayThis is a really good drive from a reputable maker. Gen 3 drives are a much better value at this time and unless you were doing heavy video editing or the like you wouldnt notice the difference in speeds from Gen 3 to Gen 4, especially for gaming.

> 3 dayI am very impressed with the speeds this drive delivers. I thought SATA3 SSDs were fast, but they are absolutly nothing compared to NVMe. I got the 500GB version and migrated my OS and everything to it, and boot speeds went from about 15 seconds to 3-4 seconds. AMAZING!!!
