> 3 dayI eventually have stability issues with every other SSD manufacturer out there, but never any issues with hynix. Very stable, very cool temps, very fast. No firmware, no fuss. This is the NVME you want.

15-04-2025BEST NVME Drives you can buy. Bought several 1TB and 500GB for different PC builds, most using PCIE adapters for upgrading old PCs that dont have the NVME slots on the motherboard. Every single one has speeds beyond specs, (read usually around 3520-3550, and write around 3200-3500). I use most for gaming and some for big quick data transfers. all seem to have no wear and tear over 6 months. No issues at all with any Drives. Could not be happier.

Greater than one weekInstalled this 2TB as system drive in a Dell G7 17 laptop, replacing the original Hynix PC611 1TB NVMe, to get some more storage space (a WD SN550 2TB is already installed in the second M.2 slot). This 2TB runs a bit faster than the old 1TB Hynix but it also runs hotter. The old Hynix would idle at around 30C but the new 2TB idles around 40C. Has the same original heat shield/heat sink installed. But even the other WD 2TB with a heat shield heats up to about 59C with just a sustained read, so Im not too concerned about the rise in temperature as Im not playing games much, apart from Microsoft Flight Simulator now and again. It was an easy install as I used the Hynix System Migration Utility software (free download from their site) and it copied over the C & D partitions without a hitch. What did happen unfortunately was that after the clone install, the second NVMe (WD) suddenly had Bitlocker applied and I needed to get into Microsoft account to retrieve the 48 digit key to unlock it every time I rebooted! What a pain, and very strange as I have Windows 11 Home version which doesnt support Bitlocker! Took a bit of research but eventually got it removed. Early days, but it looks like the drive is very good, so recommended if you can still source one.

> 3 dayEasy install. Easy setup. Easy expansion. Great drive at ~$120 for 1tb. The TBW rating is unrivaled :) Buy once cry once, dont buy a cheap fly by night brand ssd.

> 3 dayThe drive was very easy to install, format and load my OS on it. It is a speed demon for my AORUS B550 motherboard and Ryzen 5 5600X. I love it!

> 3 daymy first hard drive started to crash after 3 weeks of use, the 2nd one has crashed 5 times in 15 minutes. To get one bad one I understand, but to get 2, going to return and go back to an ssd drive.

> 3 dayI removed the sticker from the ssd and placed it on the computer case, might be better for heat sinc.
