> 3 dayThe MSI GL62M series of notebooks offers a dual M2 slot SATA/PCI-e. Using the PCI-e option as a boot drive requires some effort; but, the problem is not in the SK hynix. It has to do with the bios and configuration of of the computer.

15-04-2025My lenovo Legion 5 came with a 512 GB Sk Hynix PC711, which was an okay drive (See how it performs in the pictures). I thought this was an upgrade not just in storage capacity, but in speed also. That wasnt the case. Dont get me wrong, this is a good SSD. But theres better deals out there. I got it for $93 so I wont complain about price.

> 3 dayBought as a secondary data drive for my ASUS TUF 17 laptop. Installation was a breeze. After initial boot up, the BIOS recognized and auto configured the drive. A quick visit with Windows 10s Disk Management tool to enable it as a logical drive was all that was needed to get it up and running. Performance was on par with the SK Hynix boot drive that came with the system.
