It took me all day to link this plug to the app. I have multiple devices around my home and am very tech savvy. I have no idea how I finally got it to work but it was terrible and frustrating. Then once it finally worked (after trying the exact same thing all day), it doesnt even connect to Google home. Cool. Doesnt work with the Smart Life app like I thought so I had to download ANOTHER app called Teckin that doesnt work with Google home.

So while these are small and space saving yadda yadda, they were pretty hard to set up. My hubs is super tech savvy & they even gave him a bit of a run for his $. They eventually worked in the end (as all crappy off brand smart home things do) but it was a biyotch.

Turning on lights and fans

Did not want to to download the manufacturers app but had to at the end.

They are not easy to connect to Alexa. You have to down load another program and they try and link the two together I stopped using them as I could not get it to all con ect waste of money.

Love them, I use them on a car charger in the winter. So I dont have to go out and plug it in all the time, just push a button from inside. Also use is on a fan its nice to get in bed and if I forgot to turn my fan on I just push a button or tell alexa to turn on fan

They will not SYNC with the TECKIN App you must download and use the Smart Life App.

Doesn’t work with alexa

These didn’t even last more than a year.

Every once in a while, well tell Alexa to turn off a light and she cant find it. We end up powering it down manually and then re-starting it and Alexa is fine after that. On the whole, though, they work. Weve been able to automate most of the lights in our living space with these plugs or smart bulbs. Were pretty pleased except for the occasional Alexa brain fart. UPDATE: its been a month since we ordered these and theyre not working properly. Weve tried turning them off and on, re-synching them with Alexa, and they just wont cooperate. Were returning them.
