This blocks out every single noise while on, pleasantly surprised. For me it works great for late night studying or sleeping while drowning out noise from roommates.

Noice canceling doesnt get better than this (by far superior to all other models I tried on) and battery time is amazing even after using them for almost a year. The short time to charge is also really great!! I dropped them a couple of times without them breaking, so that is good too... Only disappointing thing is that the microphone is not good enough for phone calls, I have to turn them off every time someone calls or they will not hear me!
