> 24 hourI recently bought an older Craftsman table saw that someone had positioned the measuring tape incorrectly. I bought the Starrett tape to remedy the problem.

> 24 hourI would highly recommend this steel tape over any other fabric tape. The steel tape is true and will stay true. The fabric tapes or plastic tapes will shrink or stretch depending on the temperature at the time. This was a good purchase especially when needing to make a custom rail for your table saw like I did.

> 24 hourVery sticky! Used on a craft table. Only concern is that the corners are pretty sharp (it’s made of metal) so I ground mine down to prevent any accidental jabs

> 24 hourLike one of the other reviews the measuring tape is off by 1/32 of an inch. So cuts on a tablesaw become a guessing game. Its sticks good its durable but what does that matter if its doesnt measure right. 1/32 isnt bad until it starts adding up. Hope I can return it after I rip it off my table saw.

> 24 hourBought item to replace a tape on my sawstop cabinet saw that somehow got scratched. A lot cheaper than the original. It drifts abit when I compared to the original tape by around 1/64” as you go along the length. Could be me pulling the tape too taut during install. That’s acceptable for me as I only work with wood down to 1/32” or 1mm. Keep in mind once it’s on, there’s no going back. Recommend cutting a small 1/4” section at the 4” marker and line it up. Once you’re happy with the position, peel the rest and keep a light tension.

> 24 hourSticks well. We will see about durability in the long run but should do fine.
