Works great for my plate carrier and keeps a slim profile so the rifle sling doesn’t get caught. A little spray paint and it blends in with the multicam.

This is a must if you work Night Shift. Hands free, two brightness setting, red light if you need it, and it lasts about two to three days on a charge. Charges by USB which every patrol has now a days. Great to fill out tickets without fumbling a light in your armpit. You must get this. Get two. (Secretly hoping enough are bought that they come out with a new model)

Good little light, not the brightest as far as red light but in low light or black out operations it’ll do the job. Stuck it to my lapel or hat and it’ll light areas in red without too much light. It does have two setting for white and red light and is easily charged with usb or the supplied charge port. You do have to cycle and hold the button for light settings and red light.

I charged it as soon as I got it. I am on night shift and I use it quite often. So far battery life has been amazing. It has a low and a high beam which is great. Just tap the button again for the light to get brighter and tap again to turn off. PS if your married watch out, my wife tried to keep it for herself.

Definitely worth the money. I have only charged in once in the past month and it is still going. Seems like good construction. I pretty much only use the higher brightness setting the lower setting is a bit low for me. My only complaint if I had to find one would be I wish the clip was reversible to the other side to make it that much more customizable to your gear setup. However, still a great tool for 30 bucks.

Great item but poor documentation, otherwise a full five-star rating. The first thing you notice is the heft of this little gadget. It appears to be made of all metal, which in these days is sorely lacking in most products, plastic being the norm. It is one of those gadgets that you get that you toss up and down in your hand for a few seconds and go hmmm.... Well-built. The body, the clip, the flexible neck and light assembly all seem to be fairly substantial. Surprisingly it is not that heavy, or no more so than an equivalent plastic version. Those are the physical characteristics, now lets go to the operational aspect of it. It does not take rocket science to use this item, however a little more documentation wouldve been nice. It took me a few minutes to figure it out (thanks Google) but I did. Just figuring out how to charge this thing took a little doing as it has a cover over a USB plug that you use it to charge with, cable optional but not needed. I thought that gray seam in the middle was more decorative than anything but thats actually where the cap connects to the body. Give it a pull i& it comes off and has a rubbery tether so it doesnt get lost. I plugged mine in and the red bulb slowly flashed. Eventually the bulb quit flashing and I assumed it was charged. Now the fun begins. To turn the light on a quick push on the button and the light illuminates either clear or red depending on what was used last. After a little experimentation I figured out that to change color you have to hold the button down for a couple of seconds. Over the years Ive had several varieties of these items and never could find a use for the red one. I can see where there would be circumstances where would come in handy but for the most part I will probably only use the clear one. As far as ergonomics its compact, and can clip virtually anywhere..... A shirt pocket, the bill of a cap, the edge of a toolbox, the uses are limitless, but bear in mind the clip is pretty substantial out-of-the-box so you wouldnt want to clip it to anything fragile. As I said before Ive had several of these devices over the years but I think this one will become one of my favorites. I have a thing for items that appear to be of high quality, and well-designed and this fits the bill.
