> 3 dayLike the receive audio, Has a nice display . Transmits well with good modulation . Has 10 bands of 40 channels . Inside has surface mount parts design for increased reliability and performance . Frequency counter reads out to 100 cycles . Radio scans 40 channels in each band and you can lock out channels that you do not want to scan .

> 3 dayOut of the box this unit was silent even with squelch off and volume up. Removed bottom cover. Speaker wire was torn off at the solder joint. Soldered it back and radio checked out so far. Looks like they wired the speaker so tight it broke during some last minute check or this was a return for a no audio issue. Everything looks new. Box was delivered in manufactures box only but the box was pristine. Will update after use.

Greater than one weekRadio is great, but for $300 + you would think they would include the programing cable. The Stryker website says it is included with the 955.

Greater than one weekThe stryker 955 hp could be a very nice radio. Has lots of cool features. All in fact that i sought out in a cb radio but that is the first issue i have with it. Out of the box it must be modified to convert just to get the correct frequencies for am band cb channels. Took 2 plus weeks just to find a cb tech willing to do the modification for that. And any further tune up work that is needed im finding that no one is willing or has the know how to do because of the micro design of the board inside. Stryker radio has been 0 help with tech support to date. They dont respond to emails and wont return phone calls. Have been trying to make contact for 3 weeks now. Spme cb shops wont sell there product any longer because of the lack of support and difficulty in ordering parts for service and upgrades as i have been told recently. Really kind of sorry i purchased this particular radio
