These things are shipped with a plastic divider to keep the hooks separate. At first I didnt understand this divider, but then the slider was removed and they magnetized together. It took me a solid 20 min to unstick, I was considering ordering more just to avoid embarrassment to tell anyone what I did. Works well to hang my hair straightener.

The magnets are fine, the hooks are a better shape than most for easily hooking and lifting away, but the swivels are not the sturdiest. If you grab the hook to lift them directly off a surface, be careful to not pull sideways, or one side of the swivel may pop out of its hidey hole. No big deal, easy to put back on, but its surprising when it happens. This is not a practical problem, as youd have to do something odd to have this happen in practice since the hooks swivel to hang staright down.

These magnetic hooks are ideal for hanging anything from your refrigerator.

So i got these to put on the side of my stackable washer/dryer to hang towels figured it was better then looking at the side of those so i hung a towel on it and it doesnt stay put which i know the towel isnt anywhere close to 30lbs and the protective label didnt stick at all!

these are strong. i was worried when two grabbed on to each other . i could not pull them apart without a struggle. i have one holding my control for my recliner . not the heavy an item but the swivel magnet is only stuck to a switch plate screw on a light switch by the chair .
