Very strong magnets. I use these to hang my hats in my work van and the only bad thing I could say is they are hard to get off which is actually good because you know one you hang them they will not come off.

These hold onto the fridge well. These are used for cups and long utensils that cant be fit in a drawer. They dont slide down with a bit of weight so they stay put.

I bought these to hang my anchor charts in my classroom. I have a typical white board. It took all 4 hooks to hold one chart pad. I do not believe these would hold 30 lbs of anything.

These are definitely not 30 lb magnets. My purse weighs 6 lbs and when I hang it on this hook it just slides down the metal surface.
