TAJIMA Utility Knife - 1 7-Point Rock Hard Snap Blade Box Cutter with Dial Lock & Rock Hard Blade - LC-650

Decently made. Comparable to Olfas knives. Locks securely, good grip. However, I found that when I need this size blade for cutting tougher material, its best to go to a standard utility knife with the trapezoidal blades (i.e. Stanley, Irwin, Milwaukee, etc), as those blades are stiffer, and one can even buy extra stiff trapezoidal blades if needed.

My husband owns a couple of them and hes very satisfied with them.

this is a great knife if you need a new sharp edge often and dont want to change blades, or need to cut thick stuff like 4 ridged insulation

Best 1 snap-off knife on the market. The tajima blades are too brittle, but the knife itself is the best.

Great to cut insulation, R-19 and double layer of R-13, if youre cutting R-38 you need to press the material. Overall you get precision cuts.

The best utility knife, what else can i say. They should have made them this way from the beginning.

I have been using the Tajima knives for at least the last ten years. I install EIFS and I cut a lot of Styrofoam, and these are the best.

Great product. Bought this for a friend along with supporting blades as Ive had one for years and would not trade for anything Ive come across yet.
