I have been using the Tajima knives for at least the last ten years. I install EIFS and I cut a lot of Styrofoam, and these are the best.

I do a lot of wood carving, these knives are the most durable out of any razor knife Ive ever used. I use them to aggressively take off large amounts of wood when I need, so they end up seeing quite a bit of abuse. Highly recommend these, and the blades they come with.

This has turned out to be one of the handiest items in my tool box. Its very tough and I havent broken a single blade yet, despite cutting everything from carpeting to baseboard trim to rubber tires to wall board. And the blades themselves stay sharp for a very long time.

My husband owns a couple of them and hes very satisfied with them.

Way better than what you can find in most hardware stores. The twist locking dial holds snug and keeps the blade from slipping when stored or cutting.

Whether cutting foam, tape, plastic, etc., this utility knife will do it all for you. Be wary of the adjustment and locking Knob though. If it falls off and is lost, its hard to find something to replace it. Its still usable without it, but its not locked into place firmly without it.

If you want to carry one box cutter in your workshop apron, this is it. This cutter holds a thicker and wider blade than the usual box cutter, and I have two of them - one for the work apron and one for the tool drawer. I also have a rubberized Stanley version but much prefer the solid hard feel of the Tajima and the minimalist look. Unlocks and slides out easily, cuts through thick cardboard easily, as well as thick nylon strings, thin packing film, packing tape, thin rubber or leather sheets etc. Well constructed and solid, no wobbles.
