TetherGuard Camera Support - 3 Pack

I wasted $20 for two pieces of plastic that are useless. And,the USB part does not fit into my iMac or MacbookPro.

Bought this for my Canon 5D MK III. When I shoot interior architecture I use my laptop and run mini usb from camera to laptop and control camera from laptop. Bought this tether to protect the USB on the camera from getting pulled on in the even the cable was pulled. The portion that attaches to the cord is too large and will not hold the cable. Even at the fully clamped position, the cable freely slides through the clamp and does not provide any protection. I am using the standard issue Canon USB cable. This will not provide any Jerk Stopping as designed. Tried to return but was outside the time frame. When I bought this I didnt have a photo shoot scheduled; by the time I tried it my window had expired. This is Worthless to me.

The support does the job well but for a price. I believe it is way over priced at $16 each.

As a former member of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, I was very bothered by the likelihood of damaging my camera by snagging a cable. I searched to find a product that duplicated the “guy stay” or “pulling sock” that are used to anchor power lines. The JerkStopper is the only and therefore the best solution I have seen.

When shooting 200+ individuall kids at a school , time is very important . You cant have an equipment malfunction and the tether gives you a sense of relief that the cords plugged in for an ac adaptor or other function are secure

Easy to use and is a very important tool to stop the cord from pulling out of my camera.

Works great and the only solid way to keep your tether in when shooting hand held. I also purchased the 15ft tether which is solid and modern orange which matches my brand.
