Works great. Very intuitive to use. My 14 year old daughter stole one from the two pack for herself. Hooked them both up to Alexa devices without issue. I now have a dimmable lamp in my livingroom that I scheduled to automatically turn on and off. Only downside is it is a little bulky and the plug has to be in the bottom socket if you want to use both plugs. Very friendly company that actually cares about their customers input so I wouldnt be surprised if this gets addressed in a 2nd gen. Would recommend company and their products.

Setup was quick and easy. I bought a 2-pack of the Treatlife Outdoor Smart Dimmer Plug. I use one for my string of Edison style party lights on my patio and the other to dim the rope lights along my sea wall, which were too bright at full power. The sea wall was too far for my WiFi to reach reliably, so I programmed the power level on the Dimmer Plug in the house and then moved it to the sea wall, where it keeps the setting that I programmed while in the house. I recommend the product. I understand these can also be integrated with Alexa. Im presently just using the app that directly operates the devices.

I ordered the 2-Pack Smart Plug-In Dimmers to use with my outdoor patio lights. They arrived in 2 days and I immediately installed both dimmers. Fairly easy to set up (I had to download the TreatLife App and follow the directions) and both units worked fine. After a week (and 2 torrential downpours), one of the units stopped working so I immediately contacted customer service. They sent a replacement unit right away and 3 months later it is still operating perfectly. I have ordered numerous outdoor timers/dimmers at far higher prices and all of them stopped working shortly after being exposed to outdoor elements. The TreatLife dimmer is waterproof and designed a little differently from the others Ive used. Im very happy with them. But the biggest reason why I recommend this product (I didnt receive it as part of a promotion or discount) is the Customer Service. Quick response and regard for their customers means a lot to me when I purchase a product and this company was exemplary in that regard. They even followed up a few weeks later to make sure I had received the replacement and it was working properly. Very impressive.

These are very cool. Easy to set up and even easier to use after that. It adds a cool feature to be able to have voice activated lights too. I used them for outdoor lights that I did not have a switch for the outlet. Now I have this plugged in all the time and just tell Alexa to turn on the outdoor lights

Its unfortunate they put works only with 2.4GHz Wifi. That is a gross oversimplification. 2.4GHz is only required during the INITIAL SETUP phase. After that you can use 5GHz. Im using a TP-Link Deco mesh network and the router app allows enabling/disabling of either 2.4GHz or 5GHz. Simply disable the 5GHz during setup of the plug and the install should proceed without a hitch. Then once the smart dimmer plug is successfully added and working, you can re-enable the 5GHz on the router. If you dont have an app, theres usually a waly to log into your router to enable/disable the two bands. BTW, I suspect that the reason you often see that these wont work with a mesh network is that they only communicate with the specific node that you set up the smart plug for, and wont work node-to-node. I havent tested this yet, but thats probably right due to the different MAC addresses in each node. If youre lucky that all of you dimmers can be located within range of the node where you do the setup, you should be in business. Hope this helps!

I have spent over 2 hours trying to get these devices to connect to my phone to be able to remotely use them, and I still have not been able to connect. They do not seem to be too smart, as their name would imply.

I connected them to LED string lights. They where easy to set up and install. Downloaded the app and was able to control turn on/off dimm and set up schedules.

It was easy to setup and connect to my Alexa.

I ordered the two pack of these Smart Dimmer Plugs to control some outdoor Christmas lights. I am very happy to report that they are working great and setup was very easy! They are weatherproof so I am able to leave them outside connected to the house outlets and control my Christmas lights from anywhere using their dedicated app or Alexa. The pairing process was very simple to perform with the treatlife app. After you download the app, you just put your phone or tablet on the network that you would like the smart plugs to connect to and push the button on the plugs three times in a row. Then they just show up in the app. Thats pretty much it. The app allows for scheduling and directly controlling the switches from anywhere and lets you create little automation scripts if you would like for doing specific things when the whether or your phone location changes. There is an Alexa skill that you can setup that connects to your treatlife account that lets you control the switches with Alexa as well. I am very satisfied with my purchase and will be purchasing some indoor smart plugs from this company soon!
