Greater than one weekThis is a very big umbrella that compacts into small but fat. It’s so nice looking when it’s open from underneath and it’s quite wide to try and keep you dry. My only issue is that I really have to push hard to close it all the way. For me it’s ok, but people with mobility issues will have a problem. It’s 4 1/2 stars from me.

> 3 dayI always get wet closing and storing the umbrella when I get into the car. With this umbrella, I push a button and it collapses. I dont bother pushing in further until I am home. Fast entry into the car which is what I needed. It seems well made and I am not using it in a storm so it fits the bill perfectly.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is quality. It is nice and sturdy with good weight to it. The flower graphic under the inside is so pretty. It automatically opens really good but is a bit hard to close. Not hard hard, just harder than your average cheaper made umbrella.

> 3 dayThere is a lot to like about this umbrella. 1) Opens and closes automatically with just the push of a button; 2) The material is teflon coated so it will be good with rain; 3) It will also be good with the sun since it is black on the outside but has a nice sky blue print on the inside; 4) Seems very sturdy. The manufacturer says it has been tested for winds more than 45 mph. I have yet to test whether it is windproof as they claim but for now, I will put my trust on what the manufacturer said; 5) Compact enough for travel but bigger than my other compact umbrellas. I think two (not too big) people can share this umbrella.

> 3 dayThis umbrella is heavier, seems to be sturdier, and just a little bit larger (when closed) than I expected. To be clear, these are all good things, in my opinion. I was anticipating one of those tiny-tiny, and ultra lightweight, umbrellas. The double ribs are unlike anything Ive seen before, even in big, heavy duty, golf-style umbrellas. While I havent had the chance to use this umbrella in windy conditions yet, it seems these ribs will keep it from turning inside-out. When open, its plenty big enough for one person, and the inside view of a starry sky is a nice surprise. Opens easily, with the push of a button. Closing takes a bit more effort, but not too much. It definitely slides out of its sleeve more easily than it goes back in, but I found tightly wrapping the attached velcro strip first made it much easier. Highly recommend as a personal umbrella thats easy to keep at hand in a purse, backpack, or car.

Greater than one weekOpening and closing are easy operations as they are done with a push of a button. Rib strength feels strong and should withstand descent amount of wind. The handle is on the small side, so holding it requires a somewhat forceful grip.
