> 3 dayI tie dye shirts with my grandsons every summer. I love the color selection. The bright color stays after many washings in cold water. The plastic table covering is way too small so be prepared to supply a larger one to totally cover your surface.

> 3 dayThis was surprisingly easy to use. I bought this kit as a rainy day project for my 4 kiddos (ages 9, 4, 4, 1) they were all involved and had a lot of fun. We completed 15 projects between all the kids and had enough dye left over for a few more. Youth 16- 2 shorts, 2 tshirts, 1 pants. 5T- 2 hoodies, 4 shirts, 2T- 1 dress, 3 shirts. Colors are bright and holding well after washing. While we are all far from experts, everyone is happy and excited with how their new clothes turned out. They’re already asking for another kit and want to wear their creations tomorrow. (For better results than ours I would suggest watching a YouTube DIY video on how to fold and twist your material to make clearer designs.)

> 3 dayWe liked that it had many color options, that you only needed to add water. We made a total of 4 shirts & had plenty of die left over to where we probably could have easily made 5 more shirts. Overall it was a great kit & will probably buy again!

> 3 dayThis kit was pretty nice but I’d probably look for one with less colors & more of each color next time. We were able to do five shirts (2 long sleeve & hooded, all adult) & six masks & only had a few odd colors left over. I didn’t follow instructions but listened to my friends who had tie dyed before & let them sit in plastic wrap for 24 hours, then undid them all & let them air dry before rinsing & washing them. The photos are after unwrapping them, except for the adopt shirt, that was after washing. Colors were more vivid than I thought they’d be & not having to do the soda ash separately was nice, I remember that being another step & tie dye already requires a lot of patience. I had bought rubber bands of different sizes that made some designs easier because the kit only has one size. I also numbered the bottles on the bottom to make rainbows a little easier because they’re hard to tell apart once filled with water. Overall this was a pretty nice kit & the colors didn’t fade much after rinsing & washing & don’t seem to bleed in subsequent washings.

> 3 dayI used this kit to tie dye 8 items with my sister and our kids. First time tie dyers. It was fun! It was also hilarious because we are 2 women who cannot relax and tend to overthink everything. Can’t over think tie dyeing. Can’t really even anticipate how it will turn out. So, after some unnecessary stressing and surprisingly little mess every single one of our items came out beautiful. It was such a good memory making experience! Going to do it again but will stress less and enjoy the prices more. I do have a tip for you, though: make sure you wash your items first and do not use fabric softener before you tie dye. Also: use less dye than you think you need. We used all of it. Every single drop from all 15 bottles and it was too much. I realize now that this kit would have tie dyed at least 19 items had we not been so heavy handed with the dye.

> 3 dayEverything was mostly good. I have used this brand in the past with other tie dye projects, first time ordering it through Amazon though. I opened my package and saw the orange bottle was opened a bit and some of the powder had spilled. Just thought Id mention it.

> 3 dayWill buy this kit forever and eer and ever. INCREDIBLE. Only put water in 1/2 the colors for the first time tye dyeing. Was able to do 5 kid shirts, baby pants, baby tank, adult L shirt. I still have 1/2 the colors to use the next time we do it. I love that it comes in botles for easy use and easy clean up. will buy again and again.

> 3 dayI didn’t have the first clue about tie dye, so I ordered this kit. I was a little apprehensive about making sure I got it right and trying not to destroy my house in the process. This kit was at a great price point and seemed to be easy. So I decided to give it a shot. I was right! I’m incredibly impressed. The kit includes powdered dye that’s in bottles; just add water and shake. It also has a plastic table covering (note: it’s very small, and you may want to plan on a bigger one of your own for your table. It didn’t quite cover my modestly sized kitchen island.), gloves (but we opted to use our own better-fitting ones), and lots of rubber bands! I learned that we needed items with mostly natural fibers (at least 50% cotton, but more cotton = better), so I ordered cotton t-shirts, cotton hair scrunchies and cotton bath towels. The kit came with great step-by-step instructions, which included directions for folding different patterns. Perfect for a newbie! We also supplied our own plastic bags for letting the items stay damp and soak in their dye. I only have a couple of minor complaints. The table cloth was so small that it almost wasn’t worth it. Definitely plan on a larger one if you’re not dyeing alone. Some of the powder dust was on the outside of the bottles, but we noticed it and avoided a mess. Also, the kit claims it’s enough for 30 projects, but I’d say that’s a bit of an overstatement. We did four shirts and 10 scrunchies. I wouldn’t consider the scrunchies a whole project. I thought the towels would be perfect to count as the remaining projects, but we ended up not having quite enough dye to finish out our towels. We probably should’ve had an entirely separate kit for three towels. All in all, my kids and I had an absolute blast creating our items. I already want to order the kit again and find more things to tie dye!
