Easy to use with the prefilled dye containers. However two of the fifteen colors didnt have dye in them; teal and orange. The kids never knew the difference and had a blast. We dyed 10 Pillowcases and had remaining dye left over.

I purchased this product on sale for about $11. A lot of color options! Can’t comment too much on longevity. Unfortunately, the red bottle was punctured and made a mess when I was filling it with water. This was disappointing as red was one of the important colors we were looking forward to using and the bottles are small to begin with. The kids had fun though!

Worked pretty well for a project we wanted to do with our labcoats. Started to fade with a few washes but that might have just been the chemicals from the lab who knows lol.

I didn’t have the first clue about tie dye, so I ordered this kit. I was a little apprehensive about making sure I got it right and trying not to destroy my house in the process. This kit was at a great price point and seemed to be easy. So I decided to give it a shot. I was right! I’m incredibly impressed. The kit includes powdered dye that’s in bottles; just add water and shake. It also has a plastic table covering (note: it’s very small, and you may want to plan on a bigger one of your own for your table. It didn’t quite cover my modestly sized kitchen island.), gloves (but we opted to use our own better-fitting ones), and lots of rubber bands! I learned that we needed items with mostly natural fibers (at least 50% cotton, but more cotton = better), so I ordered cotton t-shirts, cotton hair scrunchies and cotton bath towels. The kit came with great step-by-step instructions, which included directions for folding different patterns. Perfect for a newbie! We also supplied our own plastic bags for letting the items stay damp and soak in their dye. I only have a couple of minor complaints. The table cloth was so small that it almost wasn’t worth it. Definitely plan on a larger one if you’re not dyeing alone. Some of the powder dust was on the outside of the bottles, but we noticed it and avoided a mess. Also, the kit claims it’s enough for 30 projects, but I’d say that’s a bit of an overstatement. We did four shirts and 10 scrunchies. I wouldn’t consider the scrunchies a whole project. I thought the towels would be perfect to count as the remaining projects, but we ended up not having quite enough dye to finish out our towels. We probably should’ve had an entirely separate kit for three towels. All in all, my kids and I had an absolute blast creating our items. I already want to order the kit again and find more things to tie dye!

We liked that it had many color options, that you only needed to add water. We made a total of 4 shirts & had plenty of die left over to where we probably could have easily made 5 more shirts. Overall it was a great kit & will probably buy again!

I have a bunch of old white T’s I wanted to spruce up. MAKE SURE THE SHIRT IS DAMP/WET BEFORE YOU START I PROMISE IT WILL MAKE A HUGE DIFFERENCE. Anyways, The dye process was fine, rubber bands are too small so I used my own, the gloves had holes in them so my hands were stained, the provided table cloth was nice though I recommend dying everything you plan to dye in one sitting. It took literally forever to rinse the dye out after letting it sit for 8 hours so Halfway through (I dyed 8 shirts) i gave up hand rinsing and just threw them all in the washer and washed them with detergent and everything. The colors were a bit more muted but after an initial sink rinse and then into the washer, they didn’t bleed onto each other which was a relief. And despite the struggle, I really love my new dyed shirts and would definitely get this again.

This was SO easy to use! Read the directions as it applies best to cotton and silk and one other natural fabric. PREWASH your items that you are going to dye. We picked the swirl design for all 4 boys that were dying shirts. Seemed the easiest. It was SO easy to make/mix the dyes but be careful, aggressive shaking to mix caused some drips to fly out. I thought for sure these would fade a ton, but they are VERY concentrated!!!! Let your shirts sit and “marinate” in their color for 6-8 hours! All of the kids were happy with their shirts!!! If we do it again, I might get some backup dye. (We ran out of a few colors. Just depends on how liberally you apply) would definitely buy again or recommend.

Purchased for ice dyeing not tie dying and I was a little shocked to see how little powder was in the bottles! It doesn’t say anywhere how many ounces of dye you get but it’s not a lot. Due to that it’s not going to make as many shirts as the description says. It’s not bad for Childs parties and that sort of thing but beyond that it’s a better price/value overall to buy better quality dyes.

We make custom tie dye and I love this brand. Wish it was still the same price as when I bought it last time I’d buy more!

Weve done 10 shirts so far and still have another 7 bottles of color to try out for our next project!
