Tungsten Cube - 2 - Free 1 Cube with Purchase

Not sure how I managed 50 years without this.

There is no comparison. I keep this at work, and share the awesomeness of this cube with my colleagues. Its a great conversation piece and really sparks the mind to thinks of the wonders of our earth. Thank you for putting this element into our hands.

Pretty cool! Bought Bismuth, and at the atomic weight of 83, I expected it to be heavier (denser) than Tungsten which has the atomic weight of 74. Goes to show the difference between an element with very a closely packed atom configuration and one that isnt as much. Tungsten 2 cube is cool!

What a beautiful specimen. Im very pleased with this tungsten cube. It is carefully manufactured and perfect to my eyes. Everyone I have showed it to is amazed. Why anyone would need it is hard to explain, but I am happy I have it. I gave the 1 cube to another friend who is fascinated by the periodic table and she was thrilled. Its not mind blowingly heavy but its certainly on the cusp. If you want to spend a lot of money on something pretty cool and hold basically the heaviest thing a human can hold thats not gold or a collapsing star, go for it. Its fun to toss around and catch when Im drunk and also a nice weight to do some calisthenics with :) not disappointed, but if your smart buy stocks instead

This is the minimum cube you must buy if you want to feel the glorious heft of tungsten in your hand. I purchased the 1-cm cube first, which was a waste, because its simply too light - the density doesnt really register. The one-inch cube is also too light to be remarkable. But this one... this one is terrific. When you pick up the 2-inch cube, you realise youre not handling something mundane. This thing is dense. The manufacturing quality is superior. Ive seen cheaper cubes that had a rough finish, and edges and corners sharp enough to be uncomfortable to hold. But this one has a beautiful brushed finish with radiused edges and corners. When I purchased this, I was reasonably sure it would be the kind of novelty item thats interesting for a day or two, then loses its luster. Happily, that has turned out not to be the case at all. Far from being purely ornamental, its a superb hand/finger exercise tool. What sets it apart from normal weights like dumbbells is, of course, its density. Its not practical to have a dumbbell sitting on your desk, but this cube fits in just fine. Dumbbells are also too big to work your fingers independently. This cube, on the other hand, is small enough that you can do all kinds of exercises that are simply impossible with a dumbbell or any other weight. Simply holding it between the tips of your thumb and fingers and turning it around, and doing finger/wrist flexions and extensions, is enough to give your finger, hand, and wrist muscles a respectable workout. You can try lifting it with a thumb and two fingers, or a thumb and one finger, to build your grip strength. When you can pick it up between your thumb and little finger, youll know that you have strong hands. (A tungsten cube every other day keeps RSI away? Quite plausible.) The only problem is that you soon get used to the weight and hunger for something heavier, and these things are expensive - the price grows cubically, for obvious reasons. If Midwest Tungsten were to provide an adjustable cuboid that let you add plates incrementally, that would be an excellent tool for building hand/finger/wrist health and strength.

Truly a great product. I placed my order expecting to receive a heavy 2 cube. I received a 2 cube that was heavier than expected. The finish was clean with bevels on the edges that make it quite comfortable to hold despite its weight. If you are buying this to fill a need to hold something dense the 2 cube is for you. The 1 cube is great to fiddle with. I thought I might experience buyers remorse right up until I got the cube in the mail. As soon as a laid my hands on this dense object I knew there was no return. I may have to buy 4 cube to satisfy the need for density.

The cube is awesome and even heavier than I expected! It arrived earlier than expected and also came with a 1 cube, two 3D printed triangular bases (allowing the cubes to stand on a corner), an LED flashlight, and a handwritten (yes, actually pen, not printed!) thank you note. Far and away the best experience Ive had with any seller on Amazon.

It might sound weird but I like to look at it, hold it and play with it.
