> 3 dayI share a local printer with my co-worker. It sits between our desks. We used Velcro (not included) to attach splitter to the side of the printer and we just hit the button to switch users. It was easy to install and works flawlessly.

> 3 dayI dont have a lot of bad reviews left. But there is a big problem. I connect this with my keyboard. The key is not pressed or suddenly kept pressed while typing. Very often. I got it yesterday, but Im seriously thinking about throwing it away. ------------------------------------- 13/05/2019 now I will correct the above by using it so far. I have two USB switch products. home : Rosewill USB 3.0 Sharing Switch Box office : UGREEN USB Sharing Switch USB 2.0 Previously, I thought it was UGreen Switchs problem because it didnt have the above problem, but yesterday the same problem happened with Rosewill Switch. The point at which the problem occurs is when I first press the key mapped in karabinar-elements as soon as I switch to switch Although it is the first time yesterday, it is judged that the same problem is not a hardware problem and the review is corrected. Rosewill: No symptoms and then occurs. UGreen: Symptoms are frequent and decreasing.

> 3 dayI wanted to share my hi-def web camera with two computers, one for work and one home (Windows 7 and 10 respectively). It was as simple as connecting the two supplied USB cables from this switch to a port on each computer and plugging the camera into the switch It worked immediately - no muss, no fuss.

Greater than one weekAllows me to effortlessly share a USB wireless mouse and keyboard between my home computer and my work laptop. Since my home computer monitors have multiple inputs, I can run my home computer to one set of inputs (DIsplayPort) and my work laptop to another set (HDMI). The UGreen switch lets me use the full-size keyboard and mouse from my home PC on the laptop without having to swap the USB receiver between computers.

Greater than one weekI bought this switch to use at work because I was frequently having to unplug my USB headset from my computer and plug it into my desk phone (VTech/Nextiva SIP phone), or vice versa. I had some concerns that Windows and/or the phone would behave as though it was setting up a new device every time I used the switch, but that has not been the case. Both devices act like the headset remains connected. According to my coworkers, audio from the headset through the switch sounds good. Setting up the switch is simple thanks to the two included USB-A to USB-P cables. I did try connecting a Jabra headset cradle to the switch to see if it would work as well. I believe its a Jabra Pro 9450, or it looks exactly the same as that model. Unfortunately, the cradle would just click constantly and never successfully connect to the PC or desk phone. Im speculating here, but I believe it may have been due to the cradle having its own PC/desk phone switch.

> 3 dayI had a problem with it where both Windows 7 and Windows 10 wouldnt recognize the device. The vendor was very helpful and provided multiple solutions and even a replacement. Finally the solution was to make another printer (PDF) the default printer and my physical printer was able to be recognized. The device is very small and compact. I do wish that all cables were placed on the back, so you dont have a cable sticking out from the front. But its not a big deal.

> 3 dayBesides its quirks (bit of a lag when clicking to switch can make it hard to know if youre on the right device), it works great for my keyboard. However, it completely ruined my DAC (Schiit Modi 3) - the audio came out completely garbled, which was fixed when connected directly to my computer or a USB hub that did not have this switcher in between it. Ive always thought of digital as it works or it doesnt but I guess audio is the exception here. Id say buy this if youre hooking up a keyboard/mouse or something similar with low power requirements, but dont use this if youre trying to share a webcam or audio equipment between two computers.

> 3 dayThis product does exactly as intended, no fuss or frills. I connected a wireless keyboard-mouse combo receiver to the input, and have each output connected to a different computer. All I have to do is push the button and it switches effortlessly to the other machine. It was plug-and-play on my Windows 10 machines. There is a little blue indicator button, but unless you memorize which device is associated with the marks 1 or 2 that wont help you much except to see that the inputs have changed. But thats not a problem for my uses, so I wont knock the product for that.

Greater than one weekHubby got it so we could share our hardwired printer. Saves a lot of time, with a quick click we can share without the pain of getting up or, getting a second cable.

> 3 dayI have a multi monitor setup with built in USB hubs and a personal computer along with a work laptop/dock. My monitors have the ability to switch inputs so buying an expensive KVM to take care of everything was a waste of money. This switcher seems to work just great. I double stick taped it to the bottom of my desk and its hidden away and a single click and i can switch all my USB peripherals between computers easily. The only con is that sometimes it will double register a key. For example, if Im typing quickly it may translate 2 letters when i know for sure it was only one. This seems to only happen in the first few minutes of switching though. After that Ive never noticed it. Good enough for ~$15
