This is great. I have two systems on my desk and did not want two keyboards and two mice, especially because I prefer the wireless combos. This works terrific. I plug the adapter in the switch and the switch into the two PCs and I am in business. press the button two switch between the two systems, and the indicator light shows me which system has the wireless combo connected. I imagine it would be great if you wanted to share a data drive, or to connect a backup drive, etc.

My printer kept dropping its wireless connection and I share it with my wife. This solved the problem. Hooked up effortlessly.

I work from home so Im on my computer 10+ hours a day. Ive tried a few switches in the past (some mechanical some digital) and none of them worked as well as this one and lasted as long as it has. I took off just 1 star for 2 reasons. 1. Sometimes the button isnt super responsive. You cant just smack it, you have to really give it a good push for half a second or so. 2.Its actually a bit too light. The USB cords really push it around and lift if off on my desk. Not a huge issue, just doesnt look very professional when just the weight of the cords are enough to lift half of it up into the air.

This is the best USB switch I could find, and it works great! Get the model that outputs to four devices instead, though, if you want to have the option of switching output between more than two devices in the future. I got this two-port model fearing that the four-port model would force me to cycle through all four output ports even if I only had two devices connected. I bought the four-port model in addition to this one, though, and found that it only cycles through an output port if it senses something connected. That is, if you only have two devices connected in the back of the four-port model and press the Select button repeatedly, it will only cycle between port one and port two. Nice little quality of life feature.

I had previously reviewed that the switch only came with one cord. This was inaccurate: it came with two. For reasons I cant explain, I couldnt find one of them. The switch itself works fine.

Im using two desktops: a nearly 20-year-old XP machine and a Windows 11 computer. I print from both. This little gadget automatically switches between the two. I dont even think about it.

Besides its quirks (bit of a lag when clicking to switch can make it hard to know if youre on the right device), it works great for my keyboard. However, it completely ruined my DAC (Schiit Modi 3) - the audio came out completely garbled, which was fixed when connected directly to my computer or a USB hub that did not have this switcher in between it. Ive always thought of digital as it works or it doesnt but I guess audio is the exception here. Id say buy this if youre hooking up a keyboard/mouse or something similar with low power requirements, but dont use this if youre trying to share a webcam or audio equipment between two computers.

Push button switch with blue light indicator is great. Product description says it cannot be bidirectional. But I have both downloaded to the printer and printed and uploaded a scan and that worked too. A great product that is MANUAL, which works great for my wife and I because our computer are both in the same room and we share both print and scan functions. Nice small size and black in color.

LOVE IT! Its so much easier now to just touch the button on the switch to decide which computer can print on the printer, instead of unplugging and re-plugging the different computers to printer. Wish I had know about this switch sooner.

The switch is manual but works. Occasionally I have to turn the printer off and back on. If one of the computers is off and I turn it on while the switch is assigned to the other computer, I will have to turn the printer off and back on to use it with the computer I started up.
