This is a bare-bones radio, if you just need a radio to get the job done this is it.

Cheap, good quality, and works flawlessly. If you do some weekend offroading, then this is plenty for what youll need it for. There isnt a significant amount of range with this radio, but for the price you really cannot beat the quality that you get. I would highly recommend this product (and have to other fellow Jeep drivers already).

I love the simplicity of this CB. A couple of knobs and you are good to go. Easy to see, nice and compact, easy to set up. Now for the problem... Where are all the CBers? The last time I owned a CB was in the 80s and I could spend all day talking to truckers AND people in cars. Alas, with the advent of the cell phone and other communication devices, it appears that the CB is falling into disuse. I guess you could use it between cars in your family or among friends, but just finding random traffic on the highway was very difficult. Thats too bad because I loved the security of having a CB as well as the ability to talk to and meet other people on the road. Im keeping this Uniden CB though. When I do locate someone to talk to, it is nice and clear :)

Paired up with a good antenna this little radio rocks. I set it up with my roadway magnetic rooftop antenna and bingo. Loud clear and strong. Didnt have a chance to tune but had my buddy drive out 5 mile as and I raised my antenna about an 1/8 to 3/16 of an inch and bam. I know I know its not really tuned but I was on a trip and we used his fancy radio to test my signal strength. Now its performing like other non modified radio Ive seen. I really dont what to say other than this thing flat out works! Lets hope it lasts and is reliable. Time will tell....

Brought us across country twice with one in the Penske truck and the other in our car . Probably will not use again as no more moves in our future . A little learning curve on the modulation but the was quickly learned by a fellow CBer who broke in and explained how to adjust. Used with magnetic antennas . I duck taped the one on the mirror of the Penske truck and got by ok. Worked better then on top of the cab .

These radios are a great value for the money. There is an almost zero learning curve to using them and they work quite well.

Purchased this for our Jeep JK. It was fitted at the top of the windshield above the mirror. We made a bracket and cut the plastic to snugly fit this into the hole. The mike bracket mounts to the right front side and is out of the way and easy to grab. The speaker is on the bottom so I hear it very well. Looks like a factory install. Great idea for those with Jeep Wrangler JKs

I needed a small CB radio for my truck i have manual transmission a 5 speed i also have a ham radio a Alinco 220 radio i needed a small radio to go next to my 220 this one fit perfect more than satisfactory for my needs i will include a picture of my setup soon

I got the PRO510XL so I could transfer it between cars along with a magnetic base antenna .I used a cigaret outlet plug on the radios power cord. I also have the PRO520XL mounted in my off road truck . Both radios are the same sizeand also have an outlet for an external speaker but the 520 has an RF gain adjustment, PA switch, and Channel 9 switch. If you dont need the extra options of the 520 then the 510 is the radio for you. It is a compact radio at a good price that doesnt feel cheap. The channel dial has a crisp detent feel when you turn it. The mic. may look cheesy compared to more expensive CBs but its functional and for the price I cant complain too much about it. All in all if you ARENT looking for a Cb with all the bells and whistles then the PRO510XL is for you .

Don’t judge a radio by its size. This one works just as well as my buddies Cobra. Paired with a good tuned antenna, this radio will get the job done.
