Vacuum Bare Surface Canister Floor Brush, Compatible with Kenmore

I love my Kenmore Magic Blue. Unfortunately, the attachment for the floor had to be replaced and there wasnt one anymore. Kenmore stopped making it. This product does its job but not as well as the original Kenmore attachment. Its width is smaller -- 9 vs. 11. Unlike other reviewers, this didnt scratch the hardwood floor. In fact, it was very smooth when I used it. But because it doesnt have tiny wheels like the original, it tends to come off of the floor unless you have close attention when you are vacuuming and make sure its flush against the floor. As for the hole, this product came with two holes. My Magic Blue requires the hole to be on the left side if you were to look down on it in a vacuum position. The holes on the product rotated to fit my vacuum cleaner. The diameter of the wand on my vaccum is 1-1/4. It fit perfectly. What would make this perfect is wheels and wider size. But if the wheels cant be installed, then the company should consider making it wider. On the other hand, this smaller attachment did allow me to vacuum some small areas that I couldnt get to before.

Product just as stated - use these with Sears canister vacs - great tool for bare floor sweeping.

I purchased this with the hope that I could use easily, while it fits fine the issue is that it is really not for the model I have. It cannot suction 100% as the hole is at an odd angle and it does not swivel so I actually had to turn the hose in the opposite direction for it to be flat on the floor to halfway suction. Not worth it for my cleaning purpose

Perfect replacement for my 20 year old Sears Canister Vac Floor brush. I was pleasantly surprised that I could find an exact replacement for the old floor brush. Noticed that there are 2 holes now ( I read that others had a problem with the attachment hole being in the wrong place) So for those concerned about it - problem solved! It fits my old vacuum perfectly and is the same size and same quality as my original floor brush. Very impressed and very pleased!

The suction just isn’t the same. My vacuum gets more than it’s fair share of work so I know the angle ir takes to get the best suction. My feeling is that the bristles on this brush just aren’t long enough making the angle just odd enough that the suction sucks.

There seemed to be an abundance of negative reviews, so I decided to add my input. This little floor brush is exactly as shown and does exactly what it is supposed to. It fit my Kenmore perfectly (uses the side hole). The brush that came with my Kenmore is a little 3 thing that is worthless except for furniture cleaning. The beater brush/hard floor cleaner that comes with Kenmore, weighs a ton and I hate using it: big and awkward. With this brush I may actually vacuum more often!

I love my new Kenmore 400 series vacuum but didn’t love the floor attachment that came with it when I was vacuuming large floor areas. This was a great addition (covered a little more territory with each swipe.) I delegated the original attachment to upholstery cleaner and am very happy!
