Initial Review August 15, 2022 We have 10 outdoor cameras around our house. The older ones do not have the PTZ/PIR features that allow the phone app to change the vertical and/or horizontal view of the camera. So Ive been slowly replacing the older ones with cameras like this one. It turns out this is one of the better cameras Ive acquired. Whats to like? 1) The user manual is great. No Chinese to English gibberish. In fact the user manual has only English content. Images are provided where appropriate helping to make things clear. 2) Following the instructions the camera was paired with my phone and operating normally within less than 15 minutes. 3) The camera is solidly built. 4) I like the fact that the solar panel can be mounted right on top of the camera, or a short distance away using the included cable. This allows the camera to be mounted in a shady location while still taking advantage of the solar power. In fact if the solar panel is not getting enough light where I installed it I can later move the solar panel with the extended cable and mounting base. 5) The user interface of the UBox app is easy to understand and use. 6) The camera has a wide range both horizontally and vertically. 7) I like that there is a zoom feature. Yes I know it is a digital zoom, not optical, but still its a nice feature. 8) I was very pleased to find out that I didnt have to subscribe to a monthly service to view video. I believe the monthly service is only if one wants to view video outside of the WiFi range of the camera. I can still review video from the SD card. Whats not to like? 1) Wear ear plugs when starting the camera for the first time. I practically fell off my chair when a very loud womans voice declared the camera was ready to pair. I dont know why that is necessary; a simple beep would suffice. The good news is once it is connected to WiFi there is no need for voice feedback. 2) This is a screwed in place camera which I knew, and which is fine. But Im having a hard time finding anything to complain about. I have another camera which is solar powered that I have on a small tripod. It is portable by just picking it up and moving it to a new location. Whats not to like? It is a little pricey compared to others but I think it is worth every penny. All of the screws and other fittings are included. I highly recommend this camera.

I bought it for safety. Too many car break ins in my area. The camera has really good night vision which is very important since i like to monitor during the night! Easy to install and set up

So far I love the camera have not installed yet but getting it hooked up to Wi-Fi and cell phone was a breeze.

Good product for the price, and it is working as expected, The solar feature is the thing that I like the most to save on electrical power. I am in Puerto Rico where we have sun every single day of the year, results may be different in other areas. If something change will update the review later. Pros: The price is good It saves you money on the power bill, it works with the solar panel It includes a battery that lasts all night It is wireless USB C port Cons: I have multiple brands of cameras and the user interface is fine. I am unable to link my account with Google Home

I don’t remember ever writing a review before, but this camera really deserves it! We use this as a wildlife camera at our home in the country and it is so easy to use, running the camera and viewing the images on our phones. The images are very crisp and clear, and the functionality of being able to move the camera through a wide range with the phone is great. The night vision of this camera amazes me every time we use it - looking out the window all we see is dark, but if you look on the phone it’s as bright as daylight, unlike the very grainy infrared views I’ve seen with other cameras. With a single touch on the screen, you can easily record high quality single images or video. We power it with the included solar panel, and even without direct sunlight the battery has never gone below 100%. To sum up, this is just a great device!

Once installed it works great. A little tricky to install. The screws to attach the camera to the mount are tiny.

This is the first surveillance camera we have owned and we love it! The settings are very user-friendly, and with such an easy setup process, I would recommend it to any first-time buyer.

I have a few cameras on our property. One uses the same app as this one (Ubox) and another uses a different app. I much prefer the app this camera uses! NOw to the camera, it is easy to setup if youve gone through this process before. If not, it isnt hard, just read carefully and follow the directions! Once connected, it works great. Further, having wifi control away from home is awesome! Great setup!

Easy setup, simple plugin, and great picture quality at during day and night. Also, when it auto senses movement, the light comes which makes the picture clearer. I also love the fact that the camera lens can be adjusted via my cellphone, allowing me to position it whenever needed.
