I unboxed this cam, and had in up and going in about 10 minutes. It got heft, and feels like a well made quality product. Loading the app and getting the cam on my wifi was super easy. It DOES NOT work on 5Ghz wifi, so consider this before you purchase. It was no issue for me as my outdoor AP is 2.4 Ghz. I opted to mount the cam under the eve of my house to keep it in the dry. I need to work on a better mount for the solar collector, its just laying on the roof at the moment, but seems to charge ok. The solar function is so nice.. I dont have to run unsightly wires, and it give you total freedom as to where you can place the cam. Its really nice. The cam pans and tilts quietly, with a very fluid motion. Night vision is excellent. The audio is remarkably clear and the mic is quite sensitive. My only gripe with this excellent device is the app.. This one uses the UBOX app. Now the app itself is fine, but is seems like every camera I get comes with a different app. I have several that use the CamHiPro, some that use YI IOT, and now UBOX. I wish there was a standard, or generic app that all my cams could be viewed in, instead of having to go to different apps for certain units,. A non-issue if youre only using this cam, but with multiple cams, a central viewing and control app is high on my wish list. If youre thinking about getting a solar cam, this one is definitely worth serious consideration.

We have purchased many of these cameras for our wildlife streaming company PixCams.com. We stream many popular cams like the famous Pittsburgh Hays bald eagle nest cam. The PTZ control, say and nigh video quality and sound are amazing. Would highly recommend.

Picture quality is nice. Unlike alot of other cameras the wifi signal I get is good, and again like alot of cameras this one is pretty fast to access. I do like it more than other cameras Ive had and have. No issues at all with this one!

I like the functionality and the solar panel to keep the battery charged is awesome!

Pros: Easy to connect. App is easy to use. Picture is clear. Cons: As with any wireless battery security cam Ive tested, it takes far too long for the app to load, initiate the cam, and show the picture. By the time I get to see whats going on, its typically over. Plus, the recorded footage is short, only 10 seconds, but seems to take several seconds just to engage. An example: My puppy went outside to go potty. The cam is facing to cover everything from the door out to her pen. It picked her up when she was half way there, recorded her looking off into the distance for 10 seconds, then missed her turning around to find a toad. Theres a mandatory delay in record time, so it also missed her encounter with said toad, and using as a squeezey toy in her mouth. It did record a split second of her running back into the house. Now from her getting sick and me finding the toad afterwards, I could piece together what happened, but if this were a burglar or other serious need to catch all the details, it would most certainly fail to accomplish its job. Ive owned several wireless battery security cams and this is pretty standard among all, so Im not faulting this cam itself, just more warning for those that dont know, do your research and know the shortcomings before getting a wireless battery security cam. If you dont need it for recording and investigation after potential incidents, like you just want to be able to see if someone is at your door or make sure the backyard hasnt blown away in a storm while youre away, then terrific. As for this cam specifically, the picture is more clear than other more expensive cams Ive owned, and I dig the ability to move the view up and down. I want to be able to move it side to side and up and down tho, but you only get one or the other.

I am very happy with this camera. I installed it myself in the back of my house for the backyard, the install was easy for me. The picture comes out so clear, I am very happy. I am hoping to purchase a couple more soon.

This is an awesome camera. We are able to log on and check on our property in another state. It will alert us to any movement on the property.
