> 24 hourSo this fan is great nothing bad to say about the actual fan. The foam blocks however is a different story. As you can see from other reviews the foam blocks do not create a tight seal on the tops. In fact it probably would but there’s a half inch piece of foam on the fan that’s taller than all the blocks. So my main suggestion would be to remove the thick foam with a thinner piece.

> 24 hourWish it was 2 inches shorter to fit better in window . It is as described and I really like the way it works!

> 24 hourI really like this compact window fan. Fits nicely in my bedroom window, easy installation & instructions. Presently, it’s 80° at 11:45am, and the fan is quietly, blowing in a comfortable cool breeze at the highest (4) setting. My bedroom is size 14’ by 16’ and it’s very cool. The cord will fits underneath in a groove. Nice alternative for an air conditioner between seasons. Pleasantly surprised & very pleased with it. Thinking about ordering another one.

> 24 hourThe shims used to hold in window are worthless at best, fan works as advertised make sure you have a screened in window alot of gaps.

> 24 hourIts a nice fan and all but I bought this fan mainly for the convenience of the auto-temperature control. Unfortunately, this feature is WORTHLESS because the fan reads the outside temperature. For example, the other night the fans control panel was reading 58 degrees but the temperature in my room was almost 70. With such a big deviation between outdoor and indoor temperature, this fan does a poor job of regulating the temperature in a room. Its a nice fan and all, but youre going to have to turn it on and off manually. You cant really rely on the temperature control.

> 24 hourI really like the slim design. But I was disappointed with how little air this fan moves compared to the more typical (and uglier) window units with two round fans—even at the max speed setting (4). I use it at night to cool down the room when the outside temperature drops, but its not working very well ... not surprising given how little air it pushes. It is also louder than I was expecting, with a bit of a clicking/whirring sound—even at the lowest speed setting (1). Once again, louder and more annoying than the white noise from the typical 2-round fan models. In summary: + great looks/design - does not move much air, not great for cooling even a small room - noisier than traditional window fans I am quite disappointed because I really wanted to like this product ... perhaps I received a faulty unit.

> 24 hourMy 7 month old is getting more sensitive to light. The layers of fabric over the windows keeps getting thicker. It’s summertime and the sun stays out much later than the winter so his 7pm bedtime was getting harder. It was hot in the room. I needed a fan that would let in as little light as possible. This fan is perfect for us. We don’t have to use an AC because we live in the mountains. It does let in a small amount of light but it’s very minimal. If your kiddo needs 100% blackout then a window fan will most likely not work for you. This is the closest to blackout in the market! Would absolutely buy again. Like so many other reviews I wish it came with a few more spacers to fill out gap between the unit and the window frame.

> 24 hourThe fan is quiet and fairly good at generating an exhaust while it is superior at an intake of air. The remote works adequately well and is certainly not to large. I prefer to use the control on the console. The device can fit well, though it would be better if the blocks intended for use in filling out the window size were a bit more clear in the directions for their configuration. My suspicion is that those who report that there is a bad fit of these blocks have inserted them upside down or backwards, which is easy to do. A top arrow on the inner aspect (or the outer if people do not want to see an arrow) would be an assist so long as the package was clear on which side that arrow should face relative to the fan front. Beyond that, there is a consideration of use for these devices in a more temperate climate. The only thing near as bad that I can imagine for use of a fan such as this beyond a failed function altogether is the need to remove and replace the fan on a seasonal basis. The work involved in replacement and removal and the possible damage in storage are less than seasonal placement of a window air conditioner, but is still bad. I might have hoped that the company could have a fit face-plate available to act to cut any passive flow of cold air to the interior when the weather was inclement. If fitted with some foam and arranged to clip to the front as an add on accessory, this could allow the device to sit in place during colder periods without a need to remove and reinsert. I have made a rubber sheet shade to fit the front of the device with a cloth backing and fixed it to serve this function myself and the seal is very acceptable to make the device more appropriate for when a temperature plunge might occur. Given the nature of the volatility of weather fronts lately, a device like this could be useful to allow the device to be more serviceable, even if a temperature in South Carolina or Texas might plunge for a few days in an area unaccustomed to the alteration. Such events are far from unknown and the device left in place could make its locale in the house uncomfortably cold for a few days or require removal and replacement in a matter of a few days with marked inconvenience. Thought could be made for this simple fix.

> 24 hourIt’s well worth the price. It’s quiet and it sits on the window sill where you don’t have to remove the screen or put pressure against the screen, but if you wanted to remove the screen and push it deeper into the window, you could do that too. It has the top and bottom thick foam pads that creates a custom fit to any bottom surface or window. Best of all, it’s sleek looking and quiet. I actually think I’ll be able to sleep with this running vs the noisier blade type window fans.

> 24 hourI always sleep with a fan on but wanted one that would blow air across the bed. This fan checked a lot of boxes for me including low noise, fit in the window, blowing air right across the bed at the right level and the remote at 3 am is nice. The unit is a little pricey and if there is any one thing going against it, it is the price. Function-wise, I’m happy with the purchase. It is super easy to install. Just sit it in the window frame, lower the window onto the unit, plug it in and you’re done. They also provide some insulated spacers to give a secure fit. The noise level from the fan is not bad. I havent had any problem sleeping because of the noise but its not super quiet either. Overall, its a good fan if you are looking for a window fan but it is not worth the price in my opinion.
