I have used the In Sure type wire connectors in my house with solid wires to great effect, and attempted to use them on the 12V wiring in my RV. For thicker wires, they would work somewhat, but with the thinner gauge wires they were useless. These wire connectors are perfect for use with braided wires, regardless of gauge (within their specification range). I would tape the levers before putting them behind the wall just to make sure they dont vibrate open while the RV is in motion, but aside from that they were perfect for the use that I had.

I have used the 222 series in the past and they were great. The 221 series is even better. 1. The biggest difference maker in these 221 series vs. the 222 series is the fact that they are clear, so you can quickly and easily be 100% certain of a correctly secured conductor. 2. The reduced sized of these 221 series make life that much less difficult. There never seems to be enough space to cram your wiring where it needs to go, so smaller is definitely better in this case, and like the 222s you dont really need to worry about you connections getting accidentally disconnected while you finagle things into place. 3. Even though a lot of the fixtures Ive used lever nuts on have the ends of the stranded wires tinned out of the box, sometimes you end up with that stranded conductor to work with, these things make stranded wiring a non-issue. 4. These 221 series have a broader lever, sometimes on the old 222 styles it would get harder to get them open as the day goes on and youve opened a hundred or so up already. I have never cared for traditional wire nuts, it is very easy (and common) for them to be poorly utilized by the lazy or inexperienced person, and these make them all but obsolete in my opinion.

Absolutely love this WAGO connectors, first time using them, I did 6 projects so far and it was so easy to use, for me the quality is great, and more safe and secure than the wire nuts, definitely I will recommend this product.

These lever-nuts are quite compact. Initial use was for installing a ceiling light fixture. Wire connections were easy and very solid - no slippage or loose feeling to wires once the lever was flipped and the wires secured. In this case, the connectors were physically a bit smaller than the manufacturer-supplied wire nuts. Very pleased thus far.

My son uses the solid stand wire clips but these will work with both solid and standed wire. Works so easy..

I first bought an off brand and compared it to my friend Wago’s and I immediately returned the off brand for these. I was trying to save a few bucks but learned this brand is the way to go. The closure on the lid snaps nice and tight without worry. You can see the wire through the plastic so you know it’s in place even though you should give a pull of the wire to make sure it’s in there solid. These are very well made.

This product is fantastic and completely eliminates the need for wire nuts. These are more secure, easier to use, and provides a much cleaner install over tradtional wire nuts.

No downside of the product. Awesome in every way. If I was to buy again though I’d grab an extra pack of the 2 wire ones because this pack doesn’t come with enough

These are becoming more popular for replacing the old common wire nuts in electrical wiring applications, Theyre popular in Europe, but not yet too well known in the US. Very simple to use: Just strip the wire (a stripping gauge is printed on the connectors side), lift up the tab, insert the wire, and close the tab. No special tools needed. The wire can be removed by reversing the process. These accept one wire per section: If youre joining four wires, youll need to purchase a connector with at least four sections. They accept any wire gauge from 24 awg to 12 awg, making them suitable for house wiring, automotive wiring, electronic work, etc. The manufacturer, Wago, also provided an access hole, so the assembled connector can be probed with a test meter or light after assembly.
