> 3 dayWorks way better then wire nuts when using multi- strand wire. Do a pull test on the wires after installation. I had a problem with the wires pulling out sometimes. Until I figured out that I was not stripping the insulation back far enough, thus not inserting the wire far enough. Just look at the back, to make sure the wire is inserted all of the way.

> 3 daySo its no surprise that anyone who wants to make wiring easy to work would look to something like the Wagos. Honestly, Im a big fan of the slide-in clip concept and hope they keep designing a foolproof concept that will make these a fantastic alternative to the traditional wire nuts. That being said a word of caution. These are becoming my go tos and I cant wait for the prices to drop and become even more reliable. Id love to see these be as tough as wire nuts as far as grips go, but Im not going to say they are that bad. I use to work as an electrician helper and while wire nuts have a more secure grip, these would be ideal in any new construction as this will create a serviceable splicer where you wont ever have to worry about having enough wire. WARNING!!!! If you are a novice and are just recently getting involved with electrical work, Id highly recommend trying to keep your cuts straight and long enough to reach the back end of the clip. IF YOU DO NOT CUT CORRECTLY, THE CLIP WILL NOT LATCH PROPERLY AND YOU WILL RISK AN ELECTRICAL ACCIDENT!! THIS IS AN IMPORTANT CONNECTION LESS YOU RISK ENERGIZING ANYTHING METALIC LIKE YOUR LIGHT SWITCH COVER, OUTLET GROUND SHIELDING, OR ECT. ANYTHING METAL CAN BECOME A CONDUCTOR SO PLEASE DOUBLE-CHECK YOUR WORK BEFORE CLOSING UP!!

> 3 dayAmateur, household electrical work... Bought the WAGU to give them a try. No projects yet, but I can tell that they are going to be easier to use, and take up way less space than the old twist caps.

Im Real but My Name is Not
> 3 dayI bought an assortment of these and have used them mostly for automotive applications so far. What I like is that they are easy to install with a built in gage to show how much length to strip, plus when you inevitably have to take apart a connection to make a correction the wire isn’t mangled up. One simple flip of the lever and the wire is free, I feel a lot more confidence than with some of the wire nut unions I have had. These are now the preferred device in my workshop.

> 3 dayThese lever-nuts are quite compact. Initial use was for installing a ceiling light fixture. Wire connections were easy and very solid - no slippage or loose feeling to wires once the lever was flipped and the wires secured. In this case, the connectors were physically a bit smaller than the manufacturer-supplied wire nuts. Very pleased thus far.

> 3 dayMy opinion… these perform so much better than the typical wire nut that’s been around for decades. I’m not saying those are a bad choice- just not as good as a lever nut- in my opinion. Yes, both types are Amp/volt specific But… these can be one handed operation, if need be. They allow for different wire sizes to connect using the same bit instead of multicolored size kits. The limitation is how many wires you connect at the junction. Just need the block to accommodate your desired number of wires. The lack of tapered housing, being square - allows then to tuck into LED control module housings for a clean install.

Greater than one weekI finally pulled the trigger I purchased this box to have on hand. I use them within the first few days after replacing an electrical transformer. The easy snap-on connectors allow you to use one hand to connect the wires. This product requires no skills of the user, unlike wire nuts which require knowledge and skill to use correctly.

> 3 dayI usually have trouble with wire nuts. I find the typical wire nuts difficult to grip and twist. (Getting Old).. These Wago Lever-nuts are a deal changer. I will never to back to the twist wire nut. They are a bit more expensive but so worth it.
