I purchased these to provide a way to mount my cameras easily, have the ability to remove cameras easily and keep Ethernet cabling protected. The cover offers a large amount of threaded camera mounting hole configurations. The cover comes with a gasket and mounting screws. The construction is very nice and well built. It comes in white, which is what I wanted, but I imagine you can spray paint it to a color that matches the surrounding colors. I would highly recommend this for a clean and professional looking install. Install: For a solid mounting surface, I added 2x6 wood block above soffits and drilled a 1 hole through blocking. I attached the junction box to blocking. The soffit material was cut to fit around the junction box and I caulked around the junction box to weather seal. Bullet Cameras: Most bullet cameras I have seen, allow you to adjust pitch but not always horizontal angle when mounting to a soffit. Before installing, I suggest you figure out the mounting hole configuration for your cameras and temporarily mount camera to understand camera position relative to the junction box mounting position. This will allow you to figure out horizontal angle of the camera (4 positions depending how you attach cover.

Not as universal as you would think. Reolink hole do not match any of the universal holes.

The holes in the cap were. not properly tapped and it took for ever to get the camera attached to the base. Had to slowly do it with a screw driver to make sure I dont break the bolts. I ordered these before and they were great maybe this was a bad batch but very disappointing. Took me longer to complete my install.

Used this product many times. Never had as issue. Plan to purchase in future.

Installing these was easy. No sweat (except for the 98° weather). Good size, good quality. I did not use the provided installation screws and anchors. I installed into siding - therefore I needed longer screws

solid construction. my only problem is that they were too small for the cameras im using. i ended up returning these and decided to go in another direction using more cheaper, but solid, mounting box. cameras with a smaller than 4” base are ideal for these

Great for packing the cord connections inside thereby not having lose odd looking and sloppy wiring around the cameras.
