I have purchased these a few times for my camera projects. Great value and reliability. easily paintable if you need to paint them an alternative color. They fit many different cameras as a bonus.

I purchased these to provide a way to mount my cameras easily, have the ability to remove cameras easily and keep Ethernet cabling protected. The cover offers a large amount of threaded camera mounting hole configurations. The cover comes with a gasket and mounting screws. The construction is very nice and well built. It comes in white, which is what I wanted, but I imagine you can spray paint it to a color that matches the surrounding colors. I would highly recommend this for a clean and professional looking install. Install: For a solid mounting surface, I added 2x6 wood block above soffits and drilled a 1 hole through blocking. I attached the junction box to blocking. The soffit material was cut to fit around the junction box and I caulked around the junction box to weather seal. Bullet Cameras: Most bullet cameras I have seen, allow you to adjust pitch but not always horizontal angle when mounting to a soffit. Before installing, I suggest you figure out the mounting hole configuration for your cameras and temporarily mount camera to understand camera position relative to the junction box mounting position. This will allow you to figure out horizontal angle of the camera (4 positions depending how you attach cover.

Pricey yes, but these are heavy duty aluminum not cheap plastic. Personally, I don’t mind paying for quality. Nice looking, no sharp edges and seem to be weather/water resistant. Worth the money in my opinion.

I am an installer with my company that provides security services both for residential/commercial clients. I must say, hands-down over the years these are my go-to universal junction boxes. Ive tried plenty in amazon and also other suppliers, these by far are my most preferred. They are Metal and sturdy, do not rust and have a good amount of screw patterns for most cameras that i use (mainly lorex and Reolink - bullets). They also have very good weather-locking rubber seals that block the water out and are tight enough only for the cable to pass through (cat5e, cat6, coaxial etc). Lastly, as you can see from the picture they also work with piping, i specifically use these with 1/2 piping. I cant recommend these enough!
