I got this shipped same day, and had no issues setting it up. Plugged right into the ps5s nvme slot, the system recognized it, and was able to format it no issues. Speeds look to be as advertised.

It worked as stated and yes there are other cheaper and youre paying for the logo or fact its recommended by PlayStation but thats the same as paying high prices for a PlayStation just because of the type of counsel it is.

After being contacted by Amazon 4 times and Having my package changed from Next Day to 2 days. From 2 days to 3 Days. From 3 Days to 2 Days. Then having my deliver time changed 3 times. I received this item. Monday. Which is not bad I was supposed to receive it Sunday. Called Amazon they said Wednesday. So Im not Mad. What I will say is that ounce revived it was in good condition. I watched a 10 min YouTube video on how to install installation was easy. It came with the heat sink attached thank God. So I just had to remove 2 screws drop it in and Bam I was in business. I dont know anything about SSDs or what a good write speed is so I just took this picture after I formated the card. Oh installed on my PS5

I avoided buying one of these when it came out because I’m not very experienced with the more technical aspect of consoles, so I figured the install would be beyond my abilities. This is literally as easy as plugging in an external hard drive. It took less than 10 minutes to have it installed and formatted. Just a few screws and you’re done. Setup is easy too, just format it and you’re done. This is insanely helpful for me, I have always hated that PS5 games can only be installed on the internal storage, so having far more storage is a godsend. Definitely recommend this to anyone with a PS5.
