Installation into my PS5 took less than 5 minutes. The PS5 has an open slot ready for this upgrade, so the existing drive remains there and I got 2TB in addition to the stock drive. After, you just format the drive from your PS5 storage menu and select it as your new default drive for new games. Very simple and works great. No more deleting a game every time I want to install a new one.

Easy to install, PS5 stays cool, does NOT overheat with the built it heatsink. This ups my gaming experience a ton since i have tons of different games i do not want to have to delete/ reinstall a game each time i wanna play it. If you spend on it you wont regret buying it. I got the 1TB because this is my 2nd storage device but there are bigger capacity choices. Officially licensed playstation product, I love mine, if you’re debating on getting it this is your sign!
