Using as system drive for Dell Optiplex 9020

This is an entry level solid state drive (SSD), and for standard use will be satisfactory. Compared to older mechanical hard drives (HDDs) these will make your computer superfast. They also consume less power in a laptop and can improve battery life, and are not fragile if dropped. The down side is that the potential lifespan of the less expensive SSDs is not considered robust. For heavy use like gaming, I would pony up for a drive with longer lifespan as measured by read/write cycles

These drives have performed quite well for me. I buy them continually and I have no problems to report so far.

I bought this SSD for my Macintosh Photos Library. Its been working well until recently. It started to throw errors, and now its stopped all together. I ONLY use it for my photos library, so its not like its used a lot. Pretty depressing.

I used this to upgrade the storage in my PlayStation after my 500Gig went out. Holds more games. Next time Ill go 2 tb because one is also not enough.

I dont know why I convinced myself to give WD a try again. I saw far too many classmates at film school lose entire semesters of work and fail classes when their WD drives failed to ever trust the brand again, but I need a cheap SSD quickly to be my Windows boot drive on my Hackintosh build so I landed on this one. Damn thing didnt last a year before it unrecoverably fried. Not worth it. Shell out just a little bit more and get a better brand.
