This was fairly easy to install, I have a custom built PC so all of the cables were already there. It does NOT come with a cable nor mounting screws. If you want it to look professional then youll have to buy those separately or rip them out of an older PC. You do have to configure it first which was a little troublesome at first because Im not a Windows person. I simply hit the Window button and type Administrative Tools then clicked Computer Management then scroll down to Disk Management. Your new drive should be there ready to initialize and configure. For Linux its the standard mounting command. I play video games and this drive is much faster than a spinner drive, glad I purchased it.

After receiving the drive, formatting & stress testing it, I could only describe my experience as exactly as advertised. One month into my use. If there are any major updates within a year or so, check in!

Nice disk for you computer

I have been using this SSD for over an month, it does not perform as I expected. It does provide some improvement but the speed is still not fast as it’s supposed to be. This does not really value for the money.

I placed this drive-in a case to make a external hard drive.

Very straightforward on how to install, it’s definitely an upgrade from a hard drive which I highly recommend to achieve faster loading times in games!
