> 3 dayDoes not seem to reconnect to wi-fi if it drops for whatever reason like my smart switch does (different manufacturer). After I disabled my 5GHz wifi to only 2.4GHz, (no big deal for speed) the app loaded fine otherwise would just crash on my Android 8.0 Pixel 2. Had to dig into the Google Home app but I do have it paired up with it. Going to get at least one light switch as well.

> 3 dayOriginal: Seems to be working in its own app, and as a group under the Wink skill. I will bump up to five stars if it keeps working. Note that this is not a dimmer. It is relay controlled, and it makes quite a loud click when it turns off and on. Nothing too bad, but just know you wont be able to control your light brightness with this. Update: Lights are kicking off and back on every so many minutes. It lasts about 1/2 second. You can tell by the light flicker, and the loud clicking of the relay. Down one star to 3. I will return. Update 12/28: I have learned to live with these plugs. The light turning off and back on had something to do with the apps timer function. Both now work reliably. My only complaint is they do not dim (yes, I knew they did not dim when I purchased them, but its still a negative), and that they are quite loud when they switch. Update 4/11/18: Inadvertent off/on problem returned. It just flashes off for a second every 10-15 minutes, and you can hear the relay click from the next room. Do not recommend this product. There are far better and less expensive options out there.

> 3 dayIn order to use this device, you have to download yet another app called Smart Life, set up the plug and then add it to the Alexa skills. I have not been able to figure out how to turn on the fan for 6 hours in the laundry room. I can turn it on but not schedule it to turn it off. The app is in very MVP mode. When you click on many of the buttons you get this is for demo only message. Hopefully they are counting clicks to see where people are looking to use the app.

> 3 dayThese work great and the software that controls them works great with my iPhone. You can set up to 720 on/off cycles per day ((24 hrs/day * 60 minutes per hour) / 2 for on/off) with the same setting for each day or different settings for different days. I use it as a security light to randomly turn on and off the lights through the night. It also interfaces with my Alexa, thus giving me the option to manually control the plugs from either my iPhone or from Alexa. Setting it up is easy, although there is no documentation that states it only interfaces with 2.4GHz wifi networks. I initially tried setting it up with my 5GHz, but it only gave me frustration. Once I figured out to use the 2.4, everything went great.

> 3 dayI got these for Christmas and really didnt get what to do with them. We put one on our fan in the bedroom and programmed it to go on before bed and off after we get up. I use the other one on my straightener since I often forget to turn it off. I installed the app on my phone so I can check remotely and turn it off it I find I have left it on. Now that I have them I can think of lots of uses for them.

> 3 dayThey work well. Love being able to tell Alexa to turn the lights on and off. The app allows one to control the lights from anywhere. Timers can also be set up. I will be buying more.

> 3 dayWell, it is a rare day I give anything a 1 star, these plugs finally earn their place. Im relatively tech savvy, been at this a few decades and with Alexa have had no real issues except a few minor burps with a couple of Phillips Hue light bulbs that needed resetting per seriel number. Then theres these plugs, not my first Alexa plugs but had hopes theyd be just right where I was going to connect them with the Smart Home. After several plug outlets, several attempts, and trying in every location nothing ever is discovered, never connected, just the definitiion of insanity ringing in my head. Now I will have to do one thing I absolutely dispise, return a product. Theres some 5 star reviews where these things appear to operate great, others where they shut down sometimes, and others where they simply did not work. Looks like I got the simply did not work set as both fall into this most disappointing of categories. Like a casino slot machine, it looks like you have to buy these at your own risk and hope you get a pair that work consistently. Good luck!

> 3 daySo far so good. Setup was a snap, took less than 15 minutes to get two units up and running. Using these to control TVs used for digital signage at a school -- created a schedule for the desired hours and so far is working exactly as expected. The ability to set up once only sessions or simply turn on/off on demand -- even from a remote location -- is great for the times when theres an event outside regular school hours when the display being on would be nice. UPDATE 1/30/18 -- both units have started to operate on the schedules programmed. Connectivity is not an issue as the unit can be toggled on/off readily. But after multiple days of systems staying on overnight we need to find a more reliable solution.

> 3 dayThese are great when they work. Ver convenient when traveling so house doesnt look dark and empty. Unfortunately, I have to keep reprogramming constantly. Very annoying.

Greater than one weekI have eight of these smart outlets and just ordered two more. The voice control works great with my Amazon Echo Dots. I also have them working with my Google Home. I havent had any problems with any of them so far. Besides using voice control, the Smart Life app works very well when at a remote location with internet access.. I use three of them to control lamps, one to turn my work bench power on/off, one to turn my electric blanket on before I go to bed, one controls a battery charger, one powers a computer monitor on/off and the last one turns on/off a foot heating pad under my desk. (Dont have to crawl under the desk anymore to turn it on or off). Love the voice control with Alexa. A few minutes before I go to bed at night, I just say Computer, turn on electric blanket. I use the wake-up word Computer instead of Alexa. I highly recommend these cool gadgets. :) Six months later - I now have 10 of these smart outlets and havent had any problems with any of them. All are still working fine. Im still using Echo Dots and a Echo Show to control them and can even do it from my car while driving. I plan on buying a couple more. Great product! EDIT: (12/09/18). Purchased a few more and now have 18. All have worked well and none have failed.
