I have two girls - ages 4 and 7. We bought this primarily to get a second controller but the games in WiiPlay are simple, fun and easy to master. I think the main purpose of the games is to teach the user how to use a Wii controller. Once my girls mastered a few of the WiiPlay games, they were able to play other games (ex: Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz) with much more skill and ultimately had more fun. Their favorite games are Find Mii, the shooting gallery, and fishing. Summary: if youre an experienced gamer, skip this bundle. But, if youre a casual gamer just starting out on the Wii and happen to need an extra controller, Id highly recommend getting this package. Youll familiarize yourself with the Wii controller and have fun at the same time.

If you Wii remote skills are lacking, this is the set of games for you. This set of games will walk you through all of the controlling basics for the Wii remote. I highly recommend getting this game. Its actually better for adults that are just getting their first console system, it gives them recognizable games to learn on and at the same time improve their Wii skills. Well worth the money and extra controller!

I just got a Nintendo Wii that came with Wii Sports and needed another remote so I got this bundled product. I did some research before buying it and I found that in Japan it is actually called Introduction to Wii in Japan ([...], scroll down to the part where the interview is asking why they used the word training for Links Crossbow) so I knew exactly the quality of the game I was getting. This, I think, made it more fun because I wasnt expecting some wondrous game. I take it for what its worth and its a bunch of little games to show you how to use the remote. Thats it plain and simple. Most are pretty fun too!

I just love the shooter game. Wii was my first time trying any gaming console I bought Wii play for the extra remote and it is worth every dime. As a novice, who needed to know how to use the remote I think it is a good buy. My daughter and I have great fun with Wii play particularly the shooter game and cow riding game. Enjoy it.. you cant lose even you buy it for the extra remote. We spend hours just trying to beat each others scores.

This was one of the first games I purchased after getting a Wii. It has a variety of fun games to play either single or multiplayer. I liked that it came with an additional remote because hey, we can all use an extra remote.

This game should be packaged with the Wii itself. It is FANTASTIC for learning how to use the remotes. Its also fun if you just need a few minutes to chill. Beyond that it gets dull fast. Played it for hours when we got it. Then I was pretty much over it for good. Oh, it has a nice variety of games, but each game has only one variation. After youve run the gamut youre done. There are no expansion levels, no real options. Kids will get a kick out of it, especially in groups. Just dont expect it to hold their attention long.

I bought this product mainly for the Wii remote. I had seen reviews on Amazon for just the remote, and some people said they got knock-offs. I figured with Wii Play, the remote had to be genuine. And at this price, it is like getting the game for free. Now for the games - a few of them are fun. Were new at Wii, and we have three kids, two of them just under 5. They love the shooting gallery and the Find Mii games, and can play them with a little help. The other games are okay; our 9 year old seems to enjoy them.

This product is a bargain-priced game ($10) bundled with a not-so-bargain-priced WiiMote ($30). It is an excellent novelty for adults AND children, but the fun wears off after a few weeks of play. I gave this product a 4-star fun rating because though some of the games bombed, some of them are truly fun to play. The WiiMote that comes with the game worked fine for me, and came with batteries and a clear protective cover (unlike my first WiiMote.) Sometimes the connection with the game is a little patchy, but not very often. Now, for the 9 minigame overviews... SHOOTING RANGE- 7/10 Quick and fast-paced. The goal is to shoot ducks, targets, balloons, and UFOs. It becomes a little repetitive, with the targets going in nearly the same order every time, but other than that its a lot of fun. Slow players be wary! FIND MII- 5/10 A little slow, but still all right. The goal is to find the Miis with certain characteristics- look-alikes, sleepyheads, fastest Mii, etc. The modes of play are all pretty much the same, but the settings are varied. Its especially fun to play with someone else, but you need sharp eyes to win! POSE MII- 2/10 Boring and slightly confusing at first. The goal is to pose your Mii and insert it in little bubbles before they pop. The bubbles go faster and faster until youre eventually beaten, so theres no real winning on single player. I didnt really get this game. PING PONG- 6/10 Fast-paced, but can be confusing at times. The goal is to keep returning each others serves, but its much different from real Ping-Pong. In this you simply block the ball from flying off the table- no swinging serves, spinning, etc. Still, its interesting enough and has good replay value. LASER HOCKEY- 6/10 COOL sums it up pretty well. The laser effects are a great touch, and this game is a lot of fun with another person. Sometimes the puck is slow, however, and its frustrating when it gets stuck in the corners or right outside the goal. Quite realistic, though! CHARGE!- 7/10 Hilarious at first, but the fun does wear off after running on the same track every time. At first the concept of riding a cow, collecting scarecrows, and leaping over hurdles is enough to make you want to play over and over again, but once you get used to it the funs gone. PLAY WITH ANOTHER PLAYER! FISHING- 4/10 A little odd. The goal is to catch the fish that they want you to catch, but for players who havent mastered their Wii controls properly, its confusing and difficult. Its really nothing like fishing, because all of the fish fight to bite the hook. The graphics are interesting, though! BILLIARDS- 8/10 For pool/billiards fanatics (or even dabblers) this game is a dream come true. Its realistic and has fairy simple conrtrols. The only problem is that the mode of play (9-ball pool) cannot be changed. Good for people who are beginners or novices, too! TANKS- 9/10 HILARIOUS and a TON of fun! I personally like this game the best. You steer your little toy tank around a battlefield of bricks, shooting and bombing enemy tanks (the goal is to blow them up.) You get lives on single player, but on multiplayer (where you work as a team) you dont. The Nunchuk can be used if you are really intent on winning, but for casual gamers the D-pad should suffice. Overall, I think this game has something for everyone! Adults will like Billiards for sure, and kids will enjoy Charge!. If youre thinking about purchasing a new WiiMote, I suggest you get this bundle (its not really worth it alone.)

We bought our Wii with Wii Sports Resort, and just got Wii Play. Wii Play isnt nearly as fun. The games are OK. My 10 yr old niece likes to play this game more than my husband and I do. Im still happy I bought it just because it came with an extra remote. Wii Play has a nice variety of games... but I really only like two of them. With all the other games we have that I think are fantastic, I dont think well be using this one very often.

As many people have said, buying this is basically for the extra remote. Many people have said that the titles arent fun, and I agree. However, young children absoloutley love these games, such as my 4 year old and 7 year old. The wii remote itself is $40, so the games are only 10 dollars extra. If you have children then I would definetly recommend this. If not, then these 9 games are not worth your 10 bucks.
