As pointed out in most reviews, the Wii Play Games arent very good. Theyre basically games to teach you how to use the remote. I dont find them as awful as some people, but they probably should have been included with the Wii console. Theyre basic but playable. I didnt buy the Wii Play for the games though. I bought it for the 2nd controller. At its current $45 price, it only costs $5 more than buying the controller alone. In my opinion, its worth spending an extra $5 to get the 9 games. These games are also available without the remote for around $37. It would be insanity to purchase them without it.

If you need an extra Wii remote, are fairly new to the Wii and are low on games, this is your best route in terms of value. The game itself, Wii Play, feels more like a simplified version of Wii Sports (usually already bundled with the Wii system). One of its original intentions was as a training game to get you accustomed to the Wii remote. I say original intention because they have tacked on some slightly more complex game play than the heres how to use your remote games. If you were able to pick up this game by itself, its not worth the bother. Adults and children alike will grow bored slightly faster than with other Wii titles. But for the extra $10 on top of the cost of the Wii remote - you are getting an extra game and a break from the other couple games you might own as a new Wii owner. I imagine if youve involved yourself heavily into Wii gaming and are just now looking into an extra controller, the extra $10 may not be the right money spent as the Wii Play games are really not suited or meant for someone with a lot of Wii gaming experience.

Wii Play is a pretty good game. It is very hard to stop playing the games since they are very addicting! Wii Play has Bronze, Silver, and Gold metals. It saves your progress. The hardest game, would probably be the Mii Find. You have to find things. So Find the Two look-alikes, Find the Fastest Mii, Find the Odd Miis, etc. This game is fun for the whole family and gets your brain working. Another game is shooting. You shoot at the baloons, cans, targets, and frisbees. It is a lot of fun! Table tennis is fun. The return challange is really cool. Another (THE MOST ADDICTING) game is Tanks, it is a lot of fun! You can lay mines and you shoot all the enemie tanks. I like the two-player version. I also like fishing. You get points for catching certain types of fish. Then there is billards. I like this game a little. I would recommend this game to anybody really. Wii play is a lot of fun for the whole family! Plus you get another remote!

I just got my Nintendo Wii Play game with bonus remote in the mail. I was looking for an extra remote and thought I got a great deal when I found this one with a game for such a great price. When I got it today I was a little disappointed right away when I opened it up and the box looked like it was stepped on and kicked across the room... The outer packaging was fine so I assume the box was in that condition before it was sent via USPS. When I opened it up I noticed a big scratch on the front of the Wii remote and it even looks like there is some dirt or something between the remote and the rubber cover. The game is still wrapped and brand new. Despite the not so brand new condition of the remote, I still think I got a pretty decent deal... although it may be a little harder to give as a gift now, as I planned. Good thing it is only going to my 6 and 9 year old.

The Wii Play games are difficult if you are not a typical younger gamer used to the controls. We played the Ping Pong with a 22 yr old and got killed. We are all 60+. We all laughed and applauded our skill and lack of, so the product is a success. The price with the control included was a real deal, and delivery was very quick indeed. I recommend the seller and the product.

I bought this game because it came with the Wii remote (licensed by Nintendo) and the price was right. The games on this disc are fun but they got old quick. They are, however, good for practice using the Wii remote and hand eye coordination if you arent very experienced with the Wii! Great deal!

Wii Play itself is about on par with Wii Sports, but with a wider variety of gameplay. For $10 more than the Wiimote it comes with, its a great deal, and has some truely enjoyable games. At the same time, it is simple enough that everyone in a family would be able to play it. However, 3 of the games appeal almost exclusively to small children, and in my experience Laser Hockey was the only game I found extremely addicting.

Well, the only thing that makes you buy this game is the fact that comes with the remote. Some games are little boring but I also think that playing them can make you get used to the remote. You start with the basic use of the remote and as you play each one of them (you have to play all games sequentially) the handling of the remote gets harder, but thats one thing youll thank when youre in difficult kind of games. Any case, I recommend it, but just if you need another remote.

If you need to buy an extra remote, this is a good deal. Id recommend it for those who are new to the Wii. The games included are really good for learning how to use the remote and getting your hand-eye-pointer coordination down for the real games. Overall the games included are pretty simple and have no replay value other than trying to beat someone else score. In most cases I could see people playing through the 9 games a few times till they get bored of them, then putting the disk away for good.

Lets RE-Lay out the facts. Wii Play costs about 5 bucks more than a Wii remote. The Wii Play remote does come with the soft rubber cover, so you are getting the same product. What the heck are some of these whiners expecting from the games for less than five bucks? It seems like theyre expecting them to perform like one of the high end game$$. I actually enjoy most if not all of these simplistic games and play them extensively with my 7 year old daughter. Yeah, theyre kinda cheesy. For five bucks, what do you expect?? If youve got a young kid or like a bit of cheesy entertainment, this package is a great value. If you are a real Gamer, just get the remote and spend the money on your more fancy game$. After some apprehension reading some of the negative reviews, I do not regret this purchase one bit.
