Winmau Blade 5 and Blade 6 Bristle Dartboards

> 3 dayAfter reading both Amazon reviews and reviews from other websites, I decided to go with this Winmau Blade 5 board. Overall am happy with the initial appearance and playability of the board (no bounce-outs due to the angle and thinness of the spider and the paint lines are real crisp with no bleeding into other numbers), but the board is not self-healing. When I say that, I mean even after 3 days of not playing on this board, I still see the holes from previous games that occurred several days prior. My old board (non-Winmau) is over 20 years old and heals up overnight and I get to start fresh the next day with no prior holes. I am not sure if I got a bad copy or if the quality of Winmau has deteriorated over the years since those reviews were written. The next board purchase I make will not be a Winmau. Sorry, they missed on this one.

> 3 dayVery nice board. Darts are retained very well with no pop outs. It is well worth the few extra $$ over a cheap board.

> 3 dayI’ve been using the blade 5 for some time now. Decided to order one for our team through Amazon even though some reviews were mixed. The price was $15 cheaper than the dart website I use and Amazon’s return process is one of the easiest so I went this route. Great board and will be coming back for my next one

> 3 dayOne for my garage. One for a birthday present for my buddies basement man cave. One for a house warming gift, that lives in a high country barn. 5 stars from all of them. Just take care of it. Meaning don’t forget to rotate it.

> 3 dayGreat board, build a cabinet and put this dart board in it, super easy to mount, and with the adjustment pegs it keeps it held tight to the back

> 3 dayThis is a very nice dartboard. I would highly recommend it if you are looking for one. I also got Darts Steel Tip Set from IgnatGames, which I think is a great addition to the set.

> 3 dayReally nice board. The package was a little torn up, but board was fine. I used tap con scews and drill bit to mount it to a brick wall. Had to make the holes on the mounting bracket a little larger to accept the larger tap con screw. Had a old steel tip electric board, so this is an upgrade. If your debating electric board, consider the multitude of phone apps available for scoring...and then buy this board.

> 3 dayI debated buying this board because it is one of the most expensive options and I am a very, very novice player. In fact, I just added the dartboard to the gameroom on a whim. But this is a dramatic improvement from the other dartboard I had previously. The adjustable screws on the back allow for the board to fit flush against the wall so there is no movement when pulling darts out. Very nice, you wont regret it.
