Winmau Blade 5 and Blade 6 Bristle Dartboards

We love our dart board!!!! We play regularly every week, have moved a few times and the board has stayed in place throughout all our moves. If you like darts this board is worth the price.

I’m nearly 70 years old and practice darts at home. Had an older wired version for many years. The new blade version is great for reducing bounce outs but evidently falls apart. Gave away the old one now I have to buy another. Not confident with this product.

The Blade 5 is hands down the best board Ive owned. The wiring is insanely thin which is really nice for those who worry about bounce outs causing your tips to get mangled by the floor or vice versa. The quality of the board itself is head and shoulders above the Unicorn boards which have a tendency to dry out and wear quickly. The board comes with a very sturdy hanging plate as well as adjustable balance screws to ensure the board lays flat on your hanging surface. They have a wide range of adjustment allowing for a perfectly level board. Very impressed and would definitely recommend this board for both avid darters as well as novices.

Great sisal, super thin wire, sturdy mounting with a great system to lock it in place and prevent it from moving or spinning around at all. This board is outstanding, I don’t think I’ll ever buy anything else. I had the winmau diamond plus previously, which was a great board, but this is a nice upgrade

I’m just finishing up building a workout/hangout room in my basement. I love to throw darts and I’m good enough to notice the difference between a cheap board and a good one. I started with one that was $20 cheaper and returned it before I even mounted it. This board is awesome. Clean, solid, easy to mount. Highly recommend

Gosh dang almost a perfect item! The screw holes in the mounting bracket is further apart than a stud is wide, so theres NO WAY to get the darn thing mounted sturdily into a stud. Really? What the heck are people mounting this thing in if not a wall? Other than that, what a great board! Heavy! The dart holes self-heal rather well. The board gives such an amazing, rewarding and satisfactory THHHHUNK!!!!!! when you hit it with a dart - very nice, high quality stuff! Absolutely would be 5 stars if the included mounting bracket made any sense whatsoever. I have one screw in a stud and the second one just hanging off into a drywall abyss of nothingness - very sad indeed.

After reading both Amazon reviews and reviews from other websites, I decided to go with this Winmau Blade 5 board. Overall am happy with the initial appearance and playability of the board (no bounce-outs due to the angle and thinness of the spider and the paint lines are real crisp with no bleeding into other numbers), but the board is not self-healing. When I say that, I mean even after 3 days of not playing on this board, I still see the holes from previous games that occurred several days prior. My old board (non-Winmau) is over 20 years old and heals up overnight and I get to start fresh the next day with no prior holes. I am not sure if I got a bad copy or if the quality of Winmau has deteriorated over the years since those reviews were written. The next board purchase I make will not be a Winmau. Sorry, they missed on this one.

Loving the new board but never seen a bristle board leave holes after pulling the darts out. We use steel tip darts and the holes do close up with a little massaging of the bristles. Other than that, the new thinner wire is awesome. Well see how well it holds up with everyday, multiple game use.

I started with a dmi and eventually replaced it with a viper league pro. These were both good boards but suffered from the same problem, eventually a hard enough bounce out bends a wire and it doesnt stay where it belongs. This blade 5 is so far superior it is not even close to a staple and wire system. I am very happy with this board it seems to grab the darts firmer than my pervious boards as well. If you can afford it this is the one to own.
