> 3 dayBlade tech is hands down what you need in a dart board wire; no bounce outs after a solid day of hard use!! The mounting hardware is flawless and made it easy to get the perfect mount; zero motion on the wall. UPDATE: 7 days and zero bounce outs. I do see a product flaw that I found a workaround for. The number wire is a potential bounce out. I removed the white number wire then used a white paint pen on the black bristle and black permanent marker on the white bristle to mark the corresponding numbers on the board. This means that the board is virtually bounce proof, except for the 4 plastic number wire clips. Leave the number wire clips on the board and save the wire in case you need/want it later after your markings get worn out.

> 3 dayThis is a great dart board; the wires are so thin. A good value.

> 3 dayGosh dang almost a perfect item! The screw holes in the mounting bracket is further apart than a stud is wide, so theres NO WAY to get the darn thing mounted sturdily into a stud. Really? What the heck are people mounting this thing in if not a wall? Other than that, what a great board! Heavy! The dart holes self-heal rather well. The board gives such an amazing, rewarding and satisfactory THHHHUNK!!!!!! when you hit it with a dart - very nice, high quality stuff! Absolutely would be 5 stars if the included mounting bracket made any sense whatsoever. I have one screw in a stud and the second one just hanging off into a drywall abyss of nothingness - very sad indeed.

> 3 dayBought this to replace a board I bought in the 70’s. It was still good but had wires like piano strings. What a difference in the bounce outs. Plus I’m saving on the amount of bent aluminum shafts lost to concrete floors. Haven’t experienced any tufts of sisal popping out that others have complained about, but I’ve only had this for a few months. So far, so good.

> 3 dayAfter reading both Amazon reviews and reviews from other websites, I decided to go with this Winmau Blade 5 board. Overall am happy with the initial appearance and playability of the board (no bounce-outs due to the angle and thinness of the spider and the paint lines are real crisp with no bleeding into other numbers), but the board is not self-healing. When I say that, I mean even after 3 days of not playing on this board, I still see the holes from previous games that occurred several days prior. My old board (non-Winmau) is over 20 years old and heals up overnight and I get to start fresh the next day with no prior holes. I am not sure if I got a bad copy or if the quality of Winmau has deteriorated over the years since those reviews were written. The next board purchase I make will not be a Winmau. Sorry, they missed on this one.

> 3 dayI bought this as an alternative to my Walmart $15 paper board. My neighbor got me into darts, I liked his board which was made of cork. Everyone on the Facebook dart groups recommended the Blade 5. I mounted it in 5 minutes, and I’ve played about 100 games on it and you’d never know. 10/10 recommend. The noise it makes on impact is sweet. It’s sturdy and you don’t have to hold the board to pull your darts out. There are no staples, the wire is buried pretty deep so it looks super sleek, and you don’t have bounce outs due to the staples in the green of the bullseye like most boards.

13-04-2025Winmau is easily one of the best and most recognized brand in darts. This dart board has a solid construction and is made from quality materials. The dart have a nice full resounding thwack when they make contact with the board. The cork closes up nicely, and the board seems like it can take a lot of punishment. Overall a great purchase.
