This has been nothing short of amazing. I love that it hooks up to the wifi, and using an app on my phone to turn it on or off has made things so simple. The timer works beautifully as well.

I purchased this for my holiday lights in 2018. It has worked since then well and since I had different items to plug in and control the three outlets were convenient. In the summer I reprogram and use it for fountain lighting. Its simple to change the program. It would be nice if each outlet could be controlled separately, but at this price, one could purchase another unit if thats required. Its also nice to be able to turn it on and off with phone rather than unplugging and plugging in unit for testing or maintenance purposes. I do recall I did have difficultly setting it up for the first time and instructions were minimal. Once setup it made sense, but I hope I dont have to do it again.

Update: Customer service replaced the initial unit very quickly under their manufacturer warrantee. The replacement is working well. Much happier. Updated to 3 stars. Once its shown to be reliable, I will update further..... Original worked OK for three months and I was quite happy, but then failed. Input power (110V) is fine, but no lights, no Wi-Fi connection, and most importantly, no power light. I reset it, but it just sits there with no lights on. Hard to call this anything but a paperweight at this point. Contacting the manufacturer to get a warrantee return. Will update if something changes. .../Mike

UPDATE: 10/16/22: Had this product for years including multiple outdoor versions and although the app setup isn’t the most user friendly I managed. Now that my current IPhone has upgraded to IOS 16 recently the app no longer works which stinks as I mentioned these WION/Woods units control a bunch of stuff inside and outside my home! When I emailed customer support last month (Sept) they said Apple hasn’t released info to app developers so I am SOL. I have a few hundred dollars invested in their products and now I am not able to control the units or change the timing? I had the FEIT WiFi Bulbs in my two outdoor lamps and the FEIT app works fine! I ended up ordering a few of the FEIT outdoor outlets and they were a piece of cake to set up. I am now waiting for the FEIT indoor outlets to arrive so I can exchange the WION/Woods wifi outlets with the FEIT costing me another couple of hundred bucks! Thanks for nothing WION/Woods! I will definitely NOT be purchasing anything else by these companies! I have been using Eco WiFi Outlets for the last year and love them! App is excellent IMO and easy to set timers! I love the outdoor 2 outlet timers from Eco Plugs. They are hard to get ahold of and I found out recently they are now the Woods WiOn Company so I ordered this in the hope it would setup with my current EcoPlugs App and it does! I use it for my Christmas lights. Every so often I have an Eco Plug Outlet lose connection and I have to unplug and re-insert it into power and it usually reconnects easily. It doesn’t happen enough to be a pain in the a$$ yet and I truly enjoy the convenience of these WiFi outlets. I will be purchasing more of the Indoor ones from this manufacturer in the future.

Would have rated it a five last year but changed my router (different internet provider) now the signal doesnt show up on .phone AND no way to reset the WiOn. NO RESET. CRAZY. Wrote the company to ask what to do and NO REPLY. RIDICULOUS. Now I have an outdoor paper weight, but no paper out there. I found a phone number on the website they finally called me back after my second call a week after the first call. A reset exists. Just hold the switch button down when plugging in the power. When blue light stops flashing it is reset then release. Works fine now. 3 stars for poor instructions, slow service, and no info on website.

Been working great outside for the entire time ive had it. 4 months in Wisconsin weather!

Use this in my flower bead near my font door. Purchased it to automatically turn my tiny white lights on at dusk and off by early daylight. Fairly easy to program. Since its exposed to rain and snow, I wrapped it in a piece of heavy duty garbage bag to keep it dry. Satisfied so far.

Perfect to control Christmas Lights from anywhere. Probably has other uses too. Easy to set up, program, and use from anywhere. Works just fine in single digit temperatures and buried in snow.

So, I have purchased 3 of these devices, they all are horrible. The devices just fail for various reasons. I have one that stays on, another that is off all the time, and another that just keeps disconnecting from wifi. These are junk, dont bother buying these things.

Easy to set up and connect to my Wifi network. Survived a couple rain showers with no issue. Easy to use app. Only sad thing this model does not support power usage information.
