This carrier is perfect for transporting my cockatiels and sun conure to the vet, either one or two at a time. The air holes are too large to use it for my Parrotlet, though.

My bird was reluctant to get in, but I’m mostly done with my first extended test with her in it, and so far it’s going great! She loves to chew on the mesh, which caused me some concern at first, but I’m more then happy to report that the mesh is holding up, far exceeding my expectations, as she hasn’t even managed to get a strand loose. I wouldn’t put anything bigger then a conure or cockatiel in it for more then an hour or so, but for my bird (a cockatiel) it’s proven to be enough space to keep her happy for extended amounts of time. I suspect that my constant presence, and the continuous change of sceneries, has a lot to do with it, but that doesn’t take away from the fact that even after being in this carrier for four hours straight she’s given very few complaints and has mostly been a very happy, relaxed an preening, beak grinder.

I love this backpack. I take my conure on daily walks. It is lightweight and easy to clean; just slide the tray out, wash and slide it back in. The bummer is: my little guy has chewed right through the mesh. He does not escape because I think he enjoys our outings. If it were a lightweight metal mesh of some sort, that might be ideal. Although, I think where the metal meets the fabric he would chew at the seam. All in all, I am very happy with the concept and the product itself.

Love the portability

Needs a shade or at least tinted plastic. Kinda awkward to carry and not good for a small parrot, conures, caiques, cockatiels but in the meantime it’s light weight

It’s perfect for smaller birds but i would not reccomend for goffin cockatoos and above when it comes to size as well as they can chew through it. Really good quality material though. I had to return it because my cockatoo wasn’t happy in it lol I drive her a lot and wanted something she can hold onto on car rides.

I was looking for a collapsible travel cage for my cockatiel and budgie. This was definitely a great size that gave them plenty of room. Lightweight, collapsible, Wellmade zippers, Quality cloth and plastic. I liked this one so much I bought another for my soon to be Quaker.
