I provide long distance transport for large breed dogs going into rescue. Managing dogs, keys, wallet, phone, poop bags, water, food... or some combo of above is a lot... especially on the interstate with unfamiliar doggies. These carabiners are the real deal and are worth every penny. I bought and recommend this larger size. Note the very trustworthy, easy to use locking mechanism... this feature alone makes them worth every penny. This item, paired with the Nite Ize Cinch A Lot stretch strap(s) (currently sold on Amazon), Im able to bundle the must haves to one carabiner and dog related items to another carabiner while keeping my hands free to actually walk the dog. OR ... In other cases... I use the carabiners as a guy line, or to wrap and lock around a sturdy tree trunk for those doggies shy about peeing on demand.

These are very light & alot more durable than I expected & I actually use these in many situations where hanging or latching to pull things whether it be yard work or just around the house.

Wanted this for a medium dog tieout. Very well made, and sturdy. Too large for my needs. Dog doesnt rock climb.

I used these to help easily remove a hammock i have in my basement. They are perfect for hammocks and other contraptions that hold people off the ground.

I bought these as back up carbiners for a 12 day hike with my sons scout troop. They held up very well and are very light. Id buy them again if I needed to. They are definitely built well.
