For some reason, Yamaha does not save the key codes for their products. So now I have to find someone to make a key. But I now have a blank.

My bike only came with one key and I wanted to have a spare but not generic. I like this actually said Yamaha on it. It was a bit pricier than I wanted for just one key but overall Im happy with it. Youll need to find an actual locksmith to rekey it, the kiosks wont do it.

Exactly what they say they are. Took them to Ace hardware, presto. Two new backup keys. If these dont work for you, you either purchased the wrong key or they were cut wrong.

This key did not work for my 2006 Yamaha Roadstar. The length was wrong.
