> 3 dayMy (extremely large) cat used to scarf all his dry food out of the bowl Id leave out for him; hed be crying for more around lunch time. For whatever reason, when I switched to this bowl it slowed down his eating. I have no idea why - I still leave out the same amount of dry food, but now theres always a few extra kibbles left by dinner time, and no more crying cat trying to trip me every time I walk out of the kitchen (unless its dinner time - thats when he gets wet food and thats a whole other beast). My guess is hes more comfortable eating now so he doesnt rush his meals. Whatever the reason, its a wonderful little bonus! The dish itself is super cute, very sturdy (my guy weighs about 24 pounds and hasnt knocked it off the ledge its on yet), and super easy to clean. Im back to get another two bowls to use on his wet food. Maybe the same magic will happen and hell eat less of that too (hey, a gal can dream!).

> 3 dayMy cat was making a huge mess when eating out of his old dish. This one is wide enough that it doesn’t bother his whiskers so he’s not a messy eater anymore.

> 3 dayLove the height of these bowls so our kitties don’t have to strain their necks while eating. Also love the width and shallowness of the bowl - to avoid the whisker sensitivity. It is one piece and I would’ve preferred if the top bowl portion could remove for easier cleaning. But otherwise, very happy with the purchase.

Greater than one weekI ordered this dish because my cats are getting a little older and one has whisker fatigue. I love the height! Neither cat has to lean over to eat, and thats definitely a plus for their spines! The dish is very wide-which helps with Sneakers whisker fatigue, but its a little deeper then I was expecting-which means Sneak has to put his face into the bowl which can allow his whiskers touch the sides (the only reason for 4 stars instead of 5). The good news is, its wide enough that if hes eating out of the middle of the bowl (which he mostly does) there really isnt a problem. If this dish were even just a half inch more shallow it would be the perfect bowl.

> 3 dayI absolutely LOVE this bowl for my kitty! And by the looks of things she does too. I ordered by recommendation from a friend because my little girl was throwing up her food a lot. So I did some research and found that kitty’s do better with an elevated bowl. Since elevating her bowl she has not had one instance of vomiting her food! I am very happy with they quality of the ceramic bowl, she has not once tipped it over and neither has the dog when he lovingly steals her food. Because it is ceramic it is super easy to clean. So, if you are having issues with your fur baby and vomiting throughout the day maybe give this bowl a try.

> 3 dayMy large tabby really likes this bowl for water and it’s comfortable for him to drink from now that he’s old and frail and prefers drinking and eating while sitting down. The bowl is pretty and very sturdy. The reason I took one star off is that at the current height I need to fill the bowl almost to the brim for my cat to comfortably eat and drink from. However, he consumes very little in his old age and using this large bowl for food (which is what I got it for) was becoming too wasteful—or he would just ignore the small amount placed at the bottom, which was too hard to reach. I do like the concept of a raised bowl though, so I ended up getting a smaller tilted one that meets our current needs better. I’m sure this bowl would have worked great in his old days, when his appetite better matched the size of this pretty bowl!
