> 3 dayIf you love your cat (or small dog) and can afford it, youre thinking of buying this bowl. You should. Its made well and pretty darn sturdy. Very easy to grasp too. Much, much better for digestion to eat from a raised bowl, and this one is a good height. The wide bowl is GREAT for flat faced cats and dogs, and of course, all four legged friends. I have other ceramic raised bowls that cost triple of this one (handmade, however), so it is nice to find a reasonably priced one. Additionally, this has a very wide bowl span, so wet food does not slide off onto the floor. With care I hope it lasts a long time. I have already used it in the microwave to quickly warm refrigerated leftovers. It came packed extremely well. DEFINITELY worth 5 stars!!

Greater than one weekPerfect for the kitties! It’s wide enough that both of them will eat out of it at the same time. I like how the bottom is flatter vs a ‘V’ shape so I don’t have to put too much food in there and end up throwing it away because it got stale.

> 3 dayI like everything about these bowls, I bought two. The ideal height, great width to the bowls, super easy to clean-no little hole on the bottom- and a great weight so they do not move around on the floor. I have a tall cat and a short cat and they used the bowls right out of the wrapping, which was also great...very well protected and boxed. Cant ask for more!

> 3 dayThis bowl has made a huge difference for my old kitty. I took me some time to figure out that my cat wasnt eating because he was very uncomfortable being hunched over his bowl. I started doing various things to make meal time more comfortable and found that elevating his dish greatly increased his food intake, and really boosted his health and energy level. Fast forward to last week, I happened on this bowl on Amazon and after reading a few reviews, bought it without hesitation. I read some negative reviews about poor packaging, but mine came packaged very securely in a foam cube. I will say that it seems a bit fragile, but no more so that most of my stoneware dishes. Bottom line, my poor old cat is comfortable and eating, so its worth the money. BTW, most of us spend more on a weeks worth of cat food than the cost of this bowl.

> 3 dayMy large tabby really likes this bowl for water and it’s comfortable for him to drink from now that he’s old and frail and prefers drinking and eating while sitting down. The bowl is pretty and very sturdy. The reason I took one star off is that at the current height I need to fill the bowl almost to the brim for my cat to comfortably eat and drink from. However, he consumes very little in his old age and using this large bowl for food (which is what I got it for) was becoming too wasteful—or he would just ignore the small amount placed at the bottom, which was too hard to reach. I do like the concept of a raised bowl though, so I ended up getting a smaller tilted one that meets our current needs better. I’m sure this bowl would have worked great in his old days, when his appetite better matched the size of this pretty bowl!
