YETI Rambler Bottle Hot Shot Cap Accessory

Seems to fit well but coffee liquids will dribble out slowly when you dont .

*Update: Been using this cap for a few months now, and as other users have commented, it would be nice to have lid position indicator markings of some kind. Got this for my rambler, since it fits this line universally. I use it for water, but chose this hot top over the mag cap because of the reviews about the awful smell. Very leakproof, very easy to use. 4 stars only because it didnt come with any directions about how to take it apart to clean it; will have to look it up.

Bought this for my 18 oz Yeti rambler. Overall a great simple design. Two o rings do the job for keeping it leak proof. One on the outside where it makes contact with the bottle and one on the inner twist cap. Extremely easy to clean compared to other caps with many parts. This is the main reason I bought it. My only gripe, would be, (this is why I didn’t give it 5 stars) the inner twist cap. It should be notched out in the middle for our noses. Something on the idea of how a wing nut is shaped. Other than that, it’s great!

I’ve been using the hot shot lid for almost 2 years now. Easy seal and NEVER leaks. Center has 3 settings: sealed, drink and remove for cleaning. All are about 1 rotation to the next setting.

Note that this fits the Rambler *bottles*, not the tumblers. It keeps the drinks hot or cold better than thin tops. Its easy to use. My only complaint is there are no markings on the top to indicate open or closed positions.

Love that this comes apart for cleaning.

I HAVE BOTH THE CHUG CAP AND THE HOT SHOT CAP SO MY YETI BOTTLE CAN BE USED FOR EITHER HOT OR COLD BEVERAGES. I REALLY LIKE THAT THE HOT SHOT CAP CAN BE DRANK FROM ANY SIDE AND TWISTS CLOSED FOR SPILL FREE CARRYING.

I bought this so I could use my 36oz Rambler as a carafe and then pour myself a hot cup of coffee throughout the day. It works as intended on keeping the drink warm but it makes an absolute mess when I go to pour the coffee. The bottle top that the rambler comes with works much better to pour than this does. Im not sure what their goal with this was but it certainly was not for pouring drinks

Typical for Yeti, this is very well designed and a pleasure to use.
