YETI Rambler Bottle Hot Shot Cap Accessory

I have a yeti 26 ounce and bought a lid and cap for drinking cold drinks from but saw this lid and ordered for my coffee. I can put 4 + cups of coffee in the yeti and wanted to be able to drink it straight from this yeti but also needed for it not to spill on me when i had it in the side of my backpack walking into work. Lid is a screw type but I have other screw type lid containers that are no where made this well. The lid screws down tight and even if it isnt at its tightest point it doesnt leak. I hate only getting very small sips like I am struggling to get a drink of coffee from a lid. With this one you dont have to struggle. Oh and the last greatest point of the lid it has two screw sections. you can unscrew the drinking area completely from the lid while it is attached to the yeti. Makes cleaning it easy peesy. also if coffee isnt hot hot you can take that off and drink the remainder of your coffee right down. Yeti has made the perfect lid for coffee drinkers and I commend them for their design. Someone actually listened and got it right.

Be sure to carefully read. Even unopened this item cannot be returned and we are now stuck with a lid that does not fit our yeti.

Nice design and seems to be sturdily built. Would recommend especially for sipping hot beverages.

I am enjoying this cap. I dont always want to use a straw to drink out of my bottle, and this cap makes that happen easily.

*Update: Been using this cap for a few months now, and as other users have commented, it would be nice to have lid position indicator markings of some kind. Got this for my rambler, since it fits this line universally. I use it for water, but chose this hot top over the mag cap because of the reviews about the awful smell. Very leakproof, very easy to use. 4 stars only because it didnt come with any directions about how to take it apart to clean it; will have to look it up.

This cap fits perfectly. No leaks at all. Its great for drinking coffee or anything else thats hot. And it seals tight so the liquid stays hot! All day!

I got this for the ease of use... half a twist and i can drink from my yeti bottle and for that purpose, it performed great! Unfortunately, it seems that this is not made for cold drinks. With the original cap, I can expect ice not to melt more than 24 hours after i put them in. With this, maybe half that time and the ice is all gone. So I guess insulation of the hot shot is not the same. Too bad... I now have to buy the original cap (the one that came with my bottle broke after less than 4 months of daily use).
