YETI Rambler Bottle Hot Shot Cap Accessory

> 3 dayBUYER BEWARE: Hot liquids put your drink under pressure, the pressure build up forces hot liquid to leak out of the outer screw area. AKA where the outer rubber gasket screws into the Rambler. I was very excited to receive this Hot Shot Rambler lid. However, after filling it twice with hot coffee and hot water, both times the outer gasket ring leaked. The second time, hot liquid was actually shooting out of the side of the lid where it met the metal bottle. I examined the waterproof gasket ring and noticed there are factory holes about every inch around the diameter. These rings appear to be the cause for the leaks and the hot liquid streaming out of the rambler. I love yeti products, but this one is a NO GO. Save yourself 15 bucks and look elsewhere.

> 3 dayI have a yeti 26 ounce and bought a lid and cap for drinking cold drinks from but saw this lid and ordered for my coffee. I can put 4 + cups of coffee in the yeti and wanted to be able to drink it straight from this yeti but also needed for it not to spill on me when i had it in the side of my backpack walking into work. Lid is a screw type but I have other screw type lid containers that are no where made this well. The lid screws down tight and even if it isnt at its tightest point it doesnt leak. I hate only getting very small sips like I am struggling to get a drink of coffee from a lid. With this one you dont have to struggle. Oh and the last greatest point of the lid it has two screw sections. you can unscrew the drinking area completely from the lid while it is attached to the yeti. Makes cleaning it easy peesy. also if coffee isnt hot hot you can take that off and drink the remainder of your coffee right down. Yeti has made the perfect lid for coffee drinkers and I commend them for their design. Someone actually listened and got it right.

> 3 dayI thought this would be awesome. I took it on a horse hunt and figured out why not. Without a cap like a normal thermos, all the dirt and nasty stuff gets in there. And you can’t really clean it in the field

> 3 dayI got this because I was looking for an easy way to drink out of the Rambler I had been given. Everyone on our job site got the 32 oz. Ramblers. I didnt like the traditional way of removing the lid that came with it, drinking, and then returning the lid. This has honestly been a fun way to drink, and its so easy.
